“Don't like to use the term "hidden gem" as it's so overused, but it definitely applies in this case. Fabulous service, knowledgeable staff and a great selection of wine. I actually prefer having wines grouped by tasting style rather than geography/country, and the tasting notes beneath each wine were very helpful. The store is truly a bit hidden, but you will be well rewarded if you seek out this exceptional wine market!”

He took the time to choose an alcohol selection that he felt would work best for the party I was organizing and it was an incredible selection. The delivery service was right on time, they assisted me with bringing the supply indoors. I can't recommend Solly's Spirits & Wines more, their service is the best in the city. :)”

“Solid, independently owned liquor store that would make Al Capone smile. They stock the staples of anything booze but also champion local and craft products too.
What is probably the most telling is the mix of regular and even out of town clients that will make the trip in to shop with Sean.
He takes the time to ask what you are looking for, what it’s for and match it accordingly.
Just a conveniently located gem of a liquor store that Calgary is lucky to have.

“Collective is my happy place! I have been shopping here for years. It is always the best spot to get anything new and fresh from the craft scene. Regular updates on their IG stories when they get new products in. They also carry some tasty boutique wines and local craft spirits. The best part about Collective though is the staff! Always super friendly and eager to help you find what you’re looking for. Stacey and Andrew have built a wonderful business that feels more like a hub of the community to me. They always make me feel at home. If you like to support local businesses that actually care, this is the place for you!”
“This is an amazing wine store that carries very unique selection you won’t find anywhere in Calgary. I called and searched many liquor stores to find a BC wine that I fell in love with on our wine tour trip, and only this store carries it. And even though it’s not a popular wine to put on shelf (probably because people don’t know it), when I came back to buy more, they didn’t have it, Nate was extremely accommodating. He ordered a case in for me to buy some bottles. He remembers and knows his clients and their preference even though I’ve only been there twice.”
