I shopped at Trail Appliances for years and the service was generally fine but everything changed when my contractor friend introduced me to Wayne at Rona MacLeod. He’s extremely knowledgeable, friendly, easy to deal with and genuinely focused on what’s best for the customer rather than just closing a sale. Because of that experience I’ll be switching to this Rona from Home Depot for all my construction materials as well. Thanks Wayne!

The 3 people we had the pleasure of dealing with today at Rona were incredible!
Sean didnt work in the appliance department, but quickly found Jafar and Emily. Both were assisting other customers, but came and found us when they were done.
Jafar and Emily helped us through buying a new washer and dryer. Would highly recommend going to Rona, great team and very friendly and knowledgeable.
Such a wonderful experience!!

Emily at the Rona on Macleod Trail south, Calgary went above and beyond the call of duty with helping me and was also very pleasant in doing so. A real keeper for the company!

Wayne provided exceptional service cutting our wood. We had been waiting a long time for assistance, and because we were strapped for time and almost left without the wood, we were incredibly relieved when Wayne stepped in. He was efficient and very friendly. His professionalism and helpful attitude completely turned the experience around. He is definitely a value to your team at Lowe's.

Asked a Rona employee for a box to hold 10 caulking tubes. She told me to get an empty box from near the tills and continued to drink her Timmies with a colegue. She watched me struggle with an arm full of product. Once 2 fell from my arms, I gave up, dropped all of them and drove to their competitors to make my purchase.
I will not return to Rona Southland!

Building a fence this fall and have dealt with Taeko each time we needed wood and accessories. We had the best customer service by this lady. She had a ready and correct answer for each of our questions immediately. Will continue to go to this location with all of our projects because of Taeko.. great job!!

Very disappointed with this Rona. Although some people try to help you out disappointment comes from the lumber section, where we waited 20 mins to get someone to show up and cut one 1x6 8 foot board. Many people came by to ask if we needed help, some went looking for the person who is allowed to use the saw. Others announced we were waiting and wentnon the PA system to call someone to come by. Soon another fellow was waiting as well with several pieces of wood needing it cut. Sadly after the 20 mins we left, and will never return. Guess there is a reason the Rona lot is empty and the Home Depot is packed. Lesson learned.

I came over to buy something on Sunday at 7:10 pm.
The store was closed. The website says open until 8pm.
The hours sign on the door has a felt penned 7 over top the 8 pm.
