I feel so spoiled to have this store in downtown, a short walk from work! Shelly is very passionate and knowledgeable about fountain pens and notebooks. The collection is small, but well curated. Shelly has shown me many great products I would have never discovered on my own.

This shop is a must visit in Calgary if you're into pens and stationary. The store is small, but has a well-curated selection of excellent quality pens, inks and paper, plus some cool gifts. Shelley knows her stuff, and the service is excellent.

The owner of this store is the sweetest person ever, she wasn’t afraid to share her passion for fountain pens with us which made us feel so welcomed! She is extremely knowledgeable and has a large selection of pens and ink. I strongly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to add to their pen & ink collection.

Wonderful store with amazing customer service! I ordered online to prepare for our trip to Calgary. Unfortunately one of the items I ordered was incorrectly inventoried as in stock when it was in actuality unavailable. Shelly immediately responded to me via email to let me know of the error and offered to allow me to order it when it was back in stock with complimentary shipping. When I got to the store to pick up my remaining items, I was greeted with familiarity and had a pleasant little chat. I definitely will continue to visit this shop, either online or in person, even though its location is somewhat difficult (being in the busy downtown area) since there is such a wonderful selection of imported fountain pen inks and the amazing and friendly customer service. I highly recommend this store to any fountain pen enthusiast, if you are in or visiting the Calgary area!

Called the store to ask if they had electronic gift cards, Shelley was not only extremely rude when she told me they do not provide electronic gift cards but she was condescending.When I asked her why they dont have them, her response was "thats just how we work". When I further pressed about how that is leaving money on the table her response was "yeah well, I don't know what to tell you".Maybe, Shelley...you should have tried to find a resolve for me. Offered to take my payment over phone and send the $500 gift card for me? Surely there was a resolve to this. Being absolutely rude a few days before Christmas like this, was super uncalled for.

This place is amazing. There's stiff competition in this town for stationery stores with Reid's and Recess. However, I really think the service and pen selection are what sets this place apart. I came in today and asked to dip test a Lamy 2000. The owner didn't hesitate to pull one out and let me test it, despite the fact that this can be a frustrating pen to clean after dip testing. I bought the Lamy 2000 minutes later and I stayed to chat. The service was exceptional.Now the pens... No one carries pens like this place. Period. The selection is amazing and the owner never hesitated to let me try out a pen or hold this or look at that. It's difficult to run a brick and mortar store these days when shopping online is so convenient. But service like this place offers makes shopping in-store painless.Come and chat. You'll love it. If it's fine writing pens or service you're after this is the place.

A stationary lover's dream! The selection is huge for a tiny shop, the staff is extremely knowledgeable + friendly, and they have so many things I've never seen at other stationary stores. I definitely recommend stopping in and saying goodbye to your money haha
