Went to exchange an item the was purchased on sale as it did not fit. They made me pay the full price for the exchanged item and then took the exchange and put it back on the shelf to sell for full price. So not sale price whatsoever. Pretty much theft!.

I called ahead to hold an item to make sure I am not driving all the way from the north of city for nothing, and they said they found the item put it on hold for me. Sure enough I arrive after 30 minutes driving in snowy roads to find out they completely put a wrong item at hold. The lack of basic incompetence is truly disappointing.

Helpful staff. I find the work wear section to be disorganized. Not laid out for easy findings. Maybe that’s the point. Make me look and find other things to add to me purchase. Not today Mark’s!

Danielle is SO RUDE and unprofessional. She thinks as customers we know the exact names of items we’re trying to purchase???? (FYI Danielle, we actually dont have the same knowledge as a sales associate...shocking right). As we asked how much a shirt was, she told us to “read what’s in front of you” with an incredibly condescending tone while obnoxiously tapping on the checkout screen. She spoke to us like we’re stupid when we asked a simple question. Then we asked the price of a different shirt, just wanting to know if it was on sale. She explained (VERY RUDELY) that since the shirt we picked wasn’t on a specific wall, it wasn’t apart of a promotion. We understood that the first time she explained that to us, but of course, she just had to keep aggressively telling us how wrong we were when all we did was politely ask “isn’t this on sale?”. Do better.

I do not recommend buying shoes from Mark's. They do not have staff to assist you in finding proper fitting shoes in their store. I purchased a pair of Merrell shoes the wrong size. I returned them to the same day, but they refused to exchange the shoes for a proper size. With the policy, such as they have regarding returns, I find it irresponsible on Mark's end, not to have qualified staff to help you with your purchase to ensure you are buying proper fitting footwear. I will go to Mountain Equipment Co-op and other reputable shops for footwear in the future.

First off, I want to thank the woman that eventually helped my daughter and I sorry I do not have your name.
On the flipside I do have the name of the person who was close to the worst customer service I have ever seen.
Dawson, I hope you read this and use it to move forward as a lesson. This isn't to slam you as a person.
We came in to look for some specific footwear. The store had no other customers. 3 people working. We had to try on some shoes ourselves as no one helped or even acknowledged our being there. After about 20 minutes of not being able to find the size we were looking for we were trying our best to get attention of one of the workers. Eventually we cornered Dawson into helping us. He also did not find the pair, though it said there were some in stock. He opened the cabinets above and none of us were able to find what we were looking for. He told us to wait and he would check in the back. 10 minutes go by, 15, 20... no Dawson. I went looking for him and he disappeared out back somewhere. After another 10 minutes of waiting we found someone to help us. She was on the other side of the store vacuuming but was willing to come over and help. She checked stock, also said there might be some out back. We waited and she came back. Told us the Dawson was on a break! So him knowing full well that he had customers waiting on him just decided to take his break without informing us or asking someone else to take his place. That is just insane to me.
We were told some other locations had what we were looking for. So after wasting an hour of our time here we left and went to the Chinook location. Which I have to say was the complete opposite and had amazing service. Unfortunately the one close to home I will never go to again, and will instead drive a further distance to find a store that has the slightest bit of interest in their customers.
I am surprised this location is still in business.

Lynn was amazing. Her knowledge about products and customer service was amazing! Give her a raise she deserves it. She had multiple people coming from all different directions n had a smile the whole time too!!! I will be back!

Ordered new boots Dec 1, Dec 14 was informed they have a size that fits in store but cannot refund me the Dec 1 ordered boots until they receive them. So I’m left with 2 choices .
Freeze my feet until new boots arrive or,
pay 630$ for 2 pairs over the Christmas month , and be refunded on the second pair when they arrive, taking 315$ outta the Christmas month budget. There’s something wrong with that situation.
