I had a really great shopping experience at Mark’s thanks to Gurbaaz. He was extremely helpful, patient, and took the time to make sure I found exactly what I was looking for. He was knowledgeable about the products and genuinely seemed to care about helping rather than rushing me. You can tell he’s passionate about his job and takes pride in giving good customer service. His positive attitude and strong work ethic really stood out and made the whole experience enjoyable. Definitely someone who makes you want to come back.

The cashier was nice but they have womens work stuff mixed with the men's stuff, My bf accidentally got a womens shirt.. Definitely not returning to this location.

Had an awesome experience at Marks! Gurbaaz was amazing, super helpful and friendly. He made finding the right Timberlands a breeze and really went above and beyond to make sure I got the perfect fit. Honestly, his customer service made the whole shopping trip way more enjoyable. Big thanks to Gurbaaz for making it such a great experience, definitely coming back!

I went in today to find some work clothes. Diljot helped me out she made sure I found the perfect fit for me and helped me at the cash register as well. She was really sweet great customer service!!!

Absolutely Terrible Customer Service – Marks East Hills Calgary
I had one of the worst experiences ever at this branch. I bought a pair of shoes at Marks only to realize they are a bit bigger in size. When I went back politely to request a return or even an exchange, the staff was unbelievably rude and dismissive.
They didn’t even bother to listen or check the product properly—just flat-out denied the return with a terrible attitude. No empathy, no professionalism, and zero customer care. It honestly felt like they were doing me a favour by even talking to me.
For a store that claims to care about “quality and customer satisfaction,” this location is a complete joke. I’ve shopped at other Mark’s stores before and never faced anything like this. This branch clearly doesn’t value loyal customers.
Avoid this location if you don’t want to be treated like you’re asking for charity. I’m never shopping here again.

The staff were rude and didn’t try to help at all. When I asked for a product return, they refused and spoke disrespectfully. Very poor customer service.

I rarely leave reviews like this, but after my recent experience at Marks, I felt compelled to say something. This was easily one of the most frustrating shopping trips I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, it was obvious that finding any help on the floor was going to be a challenge. I wandered around for nearly ten minutes trying to locate someone to assist me, but there was no one in sight. Eventually, I noticed an elderly lady in a working here walking around, but she looked completely dazed and confused, like she wasn’t sure what she was supposed to be doing. I asked her for help and got a vague, confused response.
When I finally found what I needed, I made my way to the tills — which turned out to be an even bigger disaster. There were only two people on the registers, both of whom looked like they had no idea what they were doing. They fumbled through every transaction, frequently stopping to ask each other questions. I ended up standing in line for 25 minutes just to pay for a couple of items. Completely unacceptable. Definitely won’t be returning anytime soon.

1. Lovepreet interrupted a private conversation I was having with my daughter in Punjabi, even though she wasn’t involved.
2. She began speaking to us in an aggressive and disrespectful tone, without cause.
3. She made a discriminatory comment, saying, “Haad hogi thohadi eh goriyaan di company a,” implying we shouldn’t question anything in a “white company.”
4. When my daughter politely asked her not to speak to us that way, she raised her voice instead of calming down.
5. She mocked me, saying I had brought my daughter just to “fight” with her.
6. She refused to provide service, claiming, “I’m the manager, complain to whoever you want, no one will do anything.”
7. She even threatened to call the police, although we remained calm and respectful throughout.
8. She overstepped the cashiers, who had been kind and professional, just to take control of the situation.
9. Her behavior created a hostile, uncomfortable, and disrespectful environment for me as a customer.

Bought a wrangler jacket The girl working there told me that I’m not allowed to using the fitting room because it is outwear and it’s the company policy Which is totally bullshit However another girl working in the counter is very helpful
