I love going into this place and looking at all the furniture and accessories. I spend time imagining what my house would look like and I feel good about supporting local stores. Their floral bouquets are also so unique and gorgeous. Always get compliments from others when carrying these beauties.

I had flowers arranged and delivered from here a couple of times and they always come out beautifully. Staff were also helpful and friendly.Highly recommended!

Worst customer service ever. Do not go in that store if you are person of colour. I just encountered an Asian looking man who racially profiled my client and I today at the store. He did not acknowledged us whatsoever, but he took the time to walk over and ask a Caucasian couple if they needed help with anything. He even had the audacity to follow us until we left the store. Sir, you are too a minority. Not all Black people are thugs or whatever preconceived and stereotyped ideas that you have chosen to believe in. most of us are doing quite well for ourselves. You have lost a profitable customer today, I will never ever spend my money or bring my clients to your store. Next time, someone who look like me walks in the store, you will think twice.

We ordered a custom couch. It was pricier than most other places in town but we liked that it was made locally and we were able to customize it. We spent a lot of time at the store, going over style, design and final upholstery. We wanted blue and at the last minute were shown a new fabric, which we liked and ultimately opted for. Not once did the salesperson ask about our lifestyle: kids, pet. Or advise us on fabric to match our lifestyle.The salesperson was attentive and very responsive until we made the payment. After that, we had to chase down answers. Delivery was delayed but not communicated.We’ve had it 4 months and the cushions are already starting to sag where we sit. Filling is coming out of a cushion where it was not properly sewn. One seat cushion is a couple inches longer than the other. We were told this was “normal” and within their acceptable standards. (They are clearly NOT the same length.) The fabric is ATROCIOUS for pets.We chased for a few months, attempting to get a resolution. We were told there was nothing they’re willing to do. So now we’re stuck with a not so comfortable, not so well made couch which catches everything from lint to hair that we paid a lot more money for because we wanted to support local.We love going to the store and we’ve bought odd and ends there that we’ve been happy with.But on big ticket items, our experience has been that they’ve great on the front end to get the deal done but not to expect any support on the back end.

I bought a succulent here on Friday, and by Saturday I had noticed it was having some issues.Totally okay, it happens. I was able to exchange my sick succulent for a healthy one. I’m very happy and will definitely be back.

Always friendly and amazing service. I have shopped here over the last few years for accent pieces, plants and furniture. The team has been super helpful with custom orders and helping us find the right pieces. Also if you're looking for plants or flowers they have a great selection. They had many more pots and planters than the greenhouse did and very reasonable pricing. They will even pot your plants so way less headache and effort. We will definitely continue to shop here.

Recently just received a couch I ordered through metro. The customer service I received was phenomenal. The staff at metro was excited to help every step of the way, through making sure the couch would be the right fit and colour for the apartment, to making sure it was delivered with as little hassle as possible (during the covid-19 virus). I have highly recommended this store to everyone I could, due to wonderful staff and the fact that everything is Calgary based. 5/5 stars, looking for reasons to get more furniture and accessories so I can go there again.

I received a bouquet of flowers on Friday June 8th my mum had ordered them from Scotland. When they arrived they seemed nice nothing stunning but nice. It is now Tuesday and they are all dead. So today Wednesday I call them to let them know basically they tell me flowers are meant to last 3 - 4 days I tell them all the other flowers that I received on Friday are very much still alive. Basically they're not interested so a $90 bouquet goes in the garbage. Poor customer service will tell my family and friends never to use them.

After reading a few good reviews (mostly 4 out of 5 stars) on other websites about Metro Element's Floral Services, I decided to try them and ordered a floral arrangement for Mother's Day (a week earlier because of travel arrangements). I ordered a bright orange and fushia "deluxe" rose bouquet for pick up at 10am the next morning. I received email confirmation about my order and everything seemed to have been accepted by Metro Element in the confirmation email I received about order information and delivery details. I didn't receive any call from them about my order not being confirmed and accepted, nor there was any mentions of a delay. The next morning, not only that the bouquet was not ready at 10:15am for pickup. They told us that they could not have their florist arranged it right away in the morning. But they will provide free delivery at 4pm. The flowers came at 3pm but it was a completely different bouquet, i,e, different colors, flowers and even the vase. Furthermore, I did not accept the "allow for substitution" checkbox in my order during checkout. I understand that florist may use substitution sometimes but we were all very disappointed when they substituted with not fresh, browning roses with wrinkly petals. That was simply unprofessional and unacceptable. We would not recommend anyone to use Metro Element's online floral service again. Perhaps if you go to the store directly and pick out what you want, then definitely they would not be able to substitute your arrangement with old and browning roses. What to expect from Metro Element's online floral service: Pros: slightly cheaper prices for their flowers Cons: poor services, delivering old, browning and wrinkled-edge flowers that leave you and your recipient very disappointed.
