I recently started servicing my car here and have had wonderful service — I only have positive things to say. Everyone at the shop is very kind and they’ve accommodated my service needs quickly. They made time and space to service a flat during a busy day. I’ve recommended them to friends and they’ve also had great experiences. Highly recommend!

I've had a very bad experience with Midas. I went there (2529 17 Ave SW) because my car showed a check engine light. First, they said my mass air flow sensor (MAS) had issues. They said it was fixed and I paid $650, next day the same issue with my car. I found out they mistakenly ordered and changed MAP instead of MAS. Next, they changed my MAS, the same issue again the next day.
Third, they said it was a spark plug issue, changed it, and charged me $450. The same issue with my car the next day. I took it back and inquired again.
Fourth, they said now the throttle body must change... it was very fishy and then I declined their recommendation after spending more than $1000 dollars and wasted 2 weeks of my time, and the issue was not fixed.
Finally, I took it to South Pointe Toyota dealer, they immediately (within 30 minutes) said my car's problem was purge valve - simple - nothing else. There was and is no issue with throttle body or MAS or MAP or spark plug. It cost me $250 for the new purge valve. The car was fixed and drove it for about a month now without a single issue.
So Midas mechanics had no idea what the problem was! They just read an error code and order change this and that. Some errors may have several origins. Those mechanics at Midas are very unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there to fix their car. May be for oil change or tire change, but nothing else. They are not doing their job as qualified people.

I went in to have my tires changed and my windshield wipers replaced, but the entire experience was a nightmare from start to finish. Here’s what happened:
Day 1:
I dropped off my car at 11:00 AM and was told it would be ready by 3:00 PM. I specifically asked them to call me an hour before it was ready since I needed the car by 4:00 PM. By 3:00 PM, I hadn’t received any updates, so I called to check on the status. To my shock, they told me they hadn’t even touched my car yet and suggested rescheduling for a week and a half later. After expressing my frustration, they agreed to fit me in on Friday.
Day 2:
I called ahead to confirm my appointment, only to find out it wasn’t in their system. This was completely unacceptable. Eventually, they fit me in that day. When I picked up my car, I noticed the passenger-side wiper hadn’t been replaced. The wiper wasn’t broken; it had simply been removed and left with the wiper arm sticking up in the air. They asked me to return the following day to fix the issue.
Day 3:
I arrived as instructed, only to be told they didn’t have the wipers ready and I’d have to wait for someone to pick them up. This was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. After I voiced my dissatisfaction, one of the staff members went to get the wipers. When they returned, they only installed one because they hadn’t picked up the correct part for the other. Once again, they asked me to come back for a fourth visit.
Day 4:
There won’t be a Day 4. I refuse to waste any more time on their unprofessional service. This business has no respect for customers or their schedules. If you care about your time and safety, go somewhere else. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
