Ok service, each time I come here for a variety of services. Lately, I have noticed that the service is declining, and the prices they quote and use after market parts are even more expensive than the original oem parts. Tried to speak to the owner, with recent issues, where I was charged $190.00, but car never got fixed and was told that's all they can do. Left messages, but seems like, the owner is scared to call back, to even hear and discuss the problem and hear my concerns, I mean just for $190.00, you are ruining your business reputation. Ridiculous.

Today December the 5/2025. I brought my car to Midas and I got it check there because my Honda Fit is making some noise under my driver side in the front. The mechanic took it for a test drive and he came back and he said it was the sway Bar Link. I have taken my car to a different Midas before I took it in to this location, and another mechanic was saying that my strut is loose and that it might be a defective strut. I should not listen to any one of these mechanics because they are all just guessing. So they change the sway bar link for both sides in the front and after when they changed it, I went for a drive with the mechanic to see if the noise is still there and guess what the same noise is still there. Stupid me thinking these mechanics in Midas will know exactly where the noise will come from. After that I try to talk to the manager Jim to see if he could do anything but he say that I still have to pay for it. He ask me do you want another mechanic go for a test drive and diagnose again and I look at the Manager Jim. You kidding me. You think I am stupid enough for you to take a look at my car again knowing you guys did not fix the noise issue. My sway bar link was ok in the first place. I should never trust what they say. Both Midas locations have different opinions for the same noise. So sad. I always bring my Honda Fit to Honda dealer and they always nailed it when they hear any noise from my car and they always fix it correctly when I was living in Toronto. They don’t just guess like these amateur mechanics in Midas. Well you pay for what you get. From now on I will never go back to any Midas ever. So sad. I wonder which one is worst? Midas or Canadian Tire?
To the owner, thank you for your response, at least you have acknowledged my review. If you brought your vehicle to have the mechanic to inspect an issue and they say is this, wouldn’t you expect for them to fix the issue. They have diagnose the issue wrong so that’s why the same issue is still there. If they have fix it and the noise would not be there. Is not because to my satisfaction, I would not be writing this review period if they fix the issue. You still have to pay regardless if they misdiagnose it. That’s the sad part.

I can write the review. I had bill of last year of pessenger side axel replacement and its approx 600$ and now I visited to replace driver side and its more than 800$. The same thing but so much difference in just one year. I was not happy with the over expensive price. I showed the bill and requested some discount as its over expensive but not able to get any. The good thing is that they give 1 year labour warranty but axle is something which I dont want to replace every one year so looking for more years warranty. Overall good but expensive not happy with the price.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Jim at Midas Auto Body, and I can’t recommend him highly enough! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with professionalism and a friendly smile. Jim took the time to listen to my concerns and explained the repair process in a clear and understandable way.
The quality of the work was outstanding. My vehicle looked as good as new when I picked it up, and Jim even went above and beyond to address a couple of additional minor issues without hesitation. The turnaround time was impressive as well, and I appreciated the regular updates throughout the repair.

In a world where automotive services are not always trustworthy, I was very impressed when I was told my muffler did not need to be replaced. Instead, all I needed was a small adjustment, which they very efficiently completed and sent me on my way. When the muffler does need replaced, I will be back. Thank you to everyone! For the amazing service!!!
