I booked 2 appointments for 1030 2 weeks ago. One for myself with Helen and one for my daughter to be done at the same time with another available staff member. When I arrived for our appointments I was told my someone that the girl I booked with (Helen) was actually on vacation and wouldn’t be there for my appointment and that they were too busy to accommodate me. I received confirmation emails and texts confirming these appointments beforehand-no one reached out letting me know Helen was not working and my appointment would not be accommodated. They than proceeded to tell me if my daughter wanted her appointment to proceed they could “fit her in” within 10-15 minutes. I questioned this as her appointment was for 1030 as well..They did not get her in until 11, which was 30 minutes past her booked appointment that again was booked over 2 weeks ago, and confirmed with texts and emails. They did not seem to care this happened and when I asked for an explanation as to why her appointment was delayed my question was ignored. Such a waste of time and terrible customer service with NO accountability for this error.

I had a great first experience. Customer service was good and I didn’t feel rushed at all. The staff was very professional and friendly. I plan to go back and hope the standard of service will remain the same.

I booked a manicure and pedicure. It felt very rushed and overall only took about 20 minutes to complete. They had another large group of customers come in just after me, and rushed to finish mine so they could go help the larger group. I would have happily booked for another day or time if they had told me that time was too booked already.

Walked in and asked for a shellac manicure, was told "have a seat" flatly, whereas the Caucasian lady who came in after me was told "please have a seat, thank you!" in a totally different, cheery voice. The hell? Then, my nail tech didn't check I was happy with it before sealing it all up. So customer service was definitely lacking.
That being said, the pros:
-Shellac mani is $35+tax, and came out nice, after a correction requested on two nails.
-The wait was only 5 mins long.
-Nice massage chair while you wait.
-Good selection of colours (*the pearl catseye ones are $10 extra).
-Blue sky ceiling tiles are cute too.
TLDR - nice nail work, and customer service leaves something to be desired.

They are very kind, and like to make conversation. They also always listen to any requests I have about my nails. I totally recommend for any age.
Specialties: They have free drinks, massage chairs and even candy for their customers.
Cleanliness: It is extremely clean and always looked after.

I had a great experience here! the atmosphere was good and the place clean. I went in for a refill (for my acrylics) and my nail tech Kelly did such a wonderful job, I’m so happy with how they turned out! She did everything I asked for and made it look better than the photo I showed her! Super happy and will definitely be coming back, thanks!

I have been going back to this place about 5 times now. The only nail salon in 130th that last long for me. I’ve tried going to a few in 130th and didn’t find a place I like until I tried South Trail nails. Kelly is the best! I am truly in love with my nails. I go back every 4 weeks.
Stylist: Kelly is the one recommended to me from my first visit and stayed with her since then

I went in for the first time for a french manicure with pretty long natural nails. I ended up getting a woman named Katie and told her I needed them a little bit shorter and she proceeded to cut them very short! The end result was fat looking nails with the skin above showing. She cut me in two different places on my cuticles as well. They look horrible and all she said was “ they’ll grow”. I won’t be back.

Went in today as my first time I had Simon. And wow such amazing work I left feeling so happy and confident I’ve gotten my nails done hundreds of times but this time I was so amazed! His work is perfect! will definitely be back.

The salon itself looks very nice and the staff is very friendly, however I got my nails done here right before Halloween, kept them on as I usually do for around 4-5 weeks, removed them (properly) and basically immediately after removing I had both my middle fingers get very infected starting at the cuticle which has now damaged the entire nail. The left finger is a lot worse but both look rough. I’ve gotten my nails done hundreds of times at many different salons in the last 7.5 years and have never had this happen :( also not just specific to this salon but many do not do proper cuticle care before acrylic services.

This was my first time going here and everyone was very nice, however I only had my nails done yesterday and they have air bubbles in between the nail and the gel???? Have never seen this before. Pretty disappointed after paying for a service.
*update* due to this I’ve already had a nail break within only a few days. The gel part came right off of the tip, exposing the nail tip, which has led me to have to cut and file the nail. These are very poorly done. The air bubbles are just getting larger (second photo) and due to this I expect more to break soon….
