I’m not happy with them at all . I open my account and deposited my check there but now they are not releasing my money. I understand that they have to verify checks. They can hold it for 5-7 days or may be 8-10 days but it’s been 2 months now . I been calling there office , their toll free number and what ever source I find. I’m not getting any answer from them and also you can’t speak with there head office. People in the bank saying they can’t do anything but can wait for their head office’s reply. I’m so frustrated and annoyed with their response. I don’t know what to do and how more I have to wait. There is no one to help you out.

Who TF are this National Bank people ?? I came on a Tuesday at 4 pm and you are closed already, while your hrs clearly says 10-5 ??? Are you kidding me ?? What world you live in ??

Drove down to the bank from Drumheller, left work early to get there before the 5pm closing time and they were closed at 4pm today.
Also payed for parking.

Laetitia Halasz was very helpful when I needed to payout an ATV loan.She was able to get me in without an appointment and made sure she followed up with me after the lien was released and sent me the documentation I needed after the fact.Laetitia was super friendly, knowledgeable and made it a very pleasant and positive experience for both me and my perspective buyer!Very much looking forward to doing business with her again in the future!

EN BREF :*Temps d'attente démesuré*Agents qui ne savent rien de la banque, qui ne savent pas comment résoudre aucune demande*Inexistence de compte sans frais en ligne (contrairement à la majorité des autres banques)*Gaspillage de Papier et augmente l'impact négatif sur l'environnementSi je pouvais mettre 0 je l'aurai fait. Cette banque est très mal gérée dans tous leurs services. Les services au téléphone prennent minimum 40 min voire plus pour être servi, à chaque fois, et une fois au téléphone avec un agent, il transfère à d'autres département (encore un autre 40min ou plus), qui te transfère à un autre département, ect. Sans recevoir d'aide approprié, ni résoudre le problème à la base. J'ai appelé à la base pour rembourser le prêt étudiant. J'ai demandé à avoir l'état complet du compte depuis sa création, car je n'ai accès qu'au solde. Personne n'a su m'aider, on ne m'a pas donné de relevé de compte, et plus encore, on me demande d'ouvrir un compte à la banque national pour effectuer le paiement du prêt car apparement on ne peut pas faire de paiement via d'autres banques pour rembourser le prêt étudiant. Et ce que j'ai trouvé aussi très déraisonnable et suspicieux, c'est que la banque national n'offre aucun compte chèque sans frais mensuel, contrairement à d'autres banques... Donc, ils me demandent d'ouvrir un compte payant que j'utiliserai que pour faire les remboursements du prêt étudiant. Ce qui veut dire qu'on me taxerai mensuellement pour utiliser 1 fois par mois le compte chèque pour faire un transfer entre mes comptes....Finalement, quand ils ont trouvé comment m'envoyer l'état de compte après 5-6h d'attente et discussion. Ils me disent qu'ils ne peuvent pas l'envoyer en ligne ce document et qu'ils l'enverront par papier.....!!!! C'est vraiment ridicule et SURTOUT ça montre à quel point cette banque ne fait pas sa part pour l'environnement! Les documents de nos jours sont envoyés en ligne pour diminuer l'impact qu'on a sur l'environnement, et dans ce cas-là on m'oblige d'accepter de produire plus de gaz à effet de serre et de substances toxiques dans les écosystèmes naturels. Terrible service, terrible bank! About a month ago I called and asked to send me last statement for my car loan, I didn't receive yet. I called them last week and waited on the line 4 hours and just hang up! Now calling them again and waiting about an hour and the automatic service says, "Why are you waiting here go online on Facebook they can help. I sent a message on Facebook, and Kyla said that she can't help for security reasons, and I know all my information so that I can verify it ! Why does customer service online exist if they can't provide any online services??? see screenshot 4 hours waiting!!!Never never never will be their customer again or use their services!

they are doing an incredibly unethical job. Closed and paid credit card still receiving debt letter. Going branch they say you owe nothing then again debt letter. Calling call Center unprofessional incoherent dialogues. DO NOT EVER GET a service from this bank!

Staff was very friendly and patient with all the things I needed help with.Inconvenient there isn’t more National Banks in Calgary, and it’s not very easy to reach an agent over the phone, but that’s my only complaint.Been with them for over 25 years I believe.
