They have nice employees and they are quite helpful. They also have the sweetest chi/corgi greeting you! I found some beautiful shoes and definitely want to go back next time I’m in the area!

Best consignment store in Kensington. They curate what they sell here better than any other store.

Consigned with peacock and they were very fair with what I received in compensation etc with all my sold items. Happy to continue consigning with them!

My review is more based on my experience consigning with them - or should I say attempting to.I've always found going into peacock boutique Kensington a mixed experience. Sometimes it is welcoming and warm and other times I have not been greeted or treated as invisible by the team. I will say they have some nice clothes, although higher priced than other consignment in the area. This being said, consigning with them is always encouraged when I go in and shop - which has been regular. I discussed and explained what items I would bring to the cashier prior and was told "bring them in".Now to note - The financial element of consigning is really irrelevant to me but I prefer to be eco conscious and do my part and figured I may as well get some credits. I gave them items that some were unworn and was called the next day and (not politely) told my items weren't wanted. Ok, that part is fine, but the tone was really rude and felt shaming - i was told they werent wanted by customers, in season or too used - despite specifically giving them only my winter items in pristine condition. Some of these items were also really nice designer items which I thought i was giving to a business that runs on clothing being dropped off and then being talked to as though I gave them a bunch of old rags.Lastly, I was then told that fur coats like the brand new one I had gotten in the UK which simply didn't fit me weren't selling there. Despite the fact I had purchased a black one similar that week at peacock. Anyways, needless to say they have unfortunately lost a frequent customer simply by just being rude. I consigned my clothes successfully with Kensington konsignment afterwards incase anyone wants an easy and gracious consignment experience.

So disappointed! Have supported (as a consignor and purchaser) Peacock Kensington since its beginning but my last experience shocked me. A few days after putting my Derek Alexander cross-body on their shelves, they sold it for $21 and I net $6.90. Goodwill would have charged more! The bag is worth over $200. They are picky about what they will take in, and usually I appreciate that, but now they refuse many high-end items in perfect condition. My pristine Balenciaga bag worth over $1,000 would have been donated if I hadn't begged to hold it while I was away. Very nicely laid out shop, pleasant staff but management needs to rethink how they treat clients or they will lose more than just me.

Very friendly staff. But not a single piece of clothing in 10/12 except for one blazer.

It's hard to believe this is a consignment shop. It smells like a spa, and is organized beautifully. 10/10 would recommend consigning and shopping here.

April 28th 2022 around 5:00pm, I dropped off one bag of my cherished clothes and dresses at Peacock kingsinton store for consignment for the first time. There was this very beautiful girl working in the store. She asked me to fill out the form to including my name, email and phone. Nothing else. She didn’t give me a receipt or anything back. I knew what items i left in the bag but felt a bit uneasy about not having a proof of all the good items I left in the store. Should I be worried?

I love this store! Great staff, great prices and everything is organized so well. I also consigned for the first time and the process was seamless. Thank you to the owner of this shop, you definitely know what you are doing in the consignment business! I'll be back.

I love Peacock. Have been coming here... Maybe a decade+? I definitely went when it was in its earlier location in Kensington and I still have some amazing vintage finds from back then, too. I swing by all the time and always find absolute treasures. Plus, their $5 rummage bin is AMAZING - to the point that I almost don't want to mention it because I want to keep it all to myself, haha. ???

So I made an inquiry to consign some of my tops, cocktail dresses, etc. I was told I could bring them in but it would take 2 to 5 days to look at FYI. What was most appauling was I was told they had to be brought in garbage bags or reusable bags only! Are you kidding me? My cherished and beloved clothing including dresses in cheap bags especially garbage? Nope. I keep all my clothing in garment bags upon transporting them for protection. Shocking how this is how they only accept clothing... who knows how the clothing is handled afterwards.... won't be consigning here.
