I feel compelled to share my rather disappointing experience with this establishment, and more specifically with Mr. Peter Parvez. Regrettably, the service fell significantly short of expectations. The tailoring process extended well beyond the initial time estimate, which was a substantial inconvenience. Additionally, a pair of pants was lost during the alterations process, with no compensation offered for this oversight. The most considerable concern was the quality of the tailoring. The suits we received were ill-fitting, not reflective of the professional tailoring standard we anticipated. Peter initially offered to offset the cost of further alterations by an independent tailor. However, upon completion of these additional modifications, he failed to uphold his promise and ceased responding to our communications, leaving us to shoulder the cost.Furthermore, I raised a complaint case with the Better Business Bureau due to this experience. Unfortunately, the retailer failed to respond to this complaint as well, an incident which is now reflected in a report.Given the lack of satisfactory service, coupled with instances of dishonesty and a disregard for formal complaints, I regret to say that I cannot recommend this establishment under any circumstances.

Overall had a very poor experience. The shirts were delayed for months and when they arrived they did not fit well. They offered little help to correct the issue and in the end I was left arguing for a refund for shirts which I never received.

Clothes fit well, good quality fabric, well stitched.Folks giving low ratings, understand the business model you are buying in to. As his price is quite low for a tailored piece - He takes measurements and then orders the tailored clothes from overseas. He doesn't have assistants on phone. He visits Calgary once every 2 weeks. Expect it to take 8 weeks. Expect to write an email / call them to confirm the clothes are here. Don't order your wedding suits and such stuff and then complain that it takes time.

If you need custom suits or need anything to get altered please do not go here. It will save you a lot of time and disappointment. It’s not a coincidence that the two newest reviews both gave this company a 1 star rating. So we ordered and paid Peter Parvez in early July to get 4 customs fit suits and 1 vest for a wedding on Sept 27. As they were measuring us, it felt really rushed but they assured us that they know what they are doing. After they took these measurements, we lost basically all contact with them. They would not answer our phone calls or emails. We had to book appointments to actually get in contact with them and figure out when we would be getting our suits. It took until the middle of August to actually try on these suits, as they lost the groom’s suit in transit. This was really unprofessional and pushed the timeline back. Once the groom tried the suit on, it was extremely big on him. The vest he ordered was also the wrong colour. We are now three days before the wedding and the groom does not have a fitted suit for his own wedding. He also has not received his vest as of yet. We do not trust Peter Parvez to alter the suit so we went to another tailor who was shook that a custom tailor shop would give a suit that was not even close to the person’s body shape. We are paying an additional $400 for alterations from this other tailor to fix all that is wrong with the suit.Weddings are stressful. Peter Parvez has made it a 100 times more stressful.

Summer 2018I ordered a suit, 3 shirts and 2 pairs of pants from Peter Parvez a year ago and had a great experience. This was with a gentleman named Abe who was great to deal with and was very friendly and personable. Fast forward a year...Summer 2019This good experience with Abe led to my unfortunate decision to get my 5 groomsmen suits from Peter Parvez (thankfully I decided to get my own suit from somewhere else). I met with a man named Peter (supposedly of Peter Parvez) and negotiated a deal to get all of my groomsmen suits from there for a set price. From that first discussion, Peter seemed a little sketchy (but I still went through with it because of the previous experience with Abe...plus...how bad could it be, right?), so I got the price from him in writing. The very first groomsman to meet with him got measured and then Peter tried to rip him off and charge them a higher price. Luckily, I was nearby and went to the appointment to show him the agreed upon price.A month later the suits finally came in, a couple of them needed alterations because the jackets were baggy and the pants were too tight. Peter said he would alter them in two weeks, but then we never heard from him. Peter ignored all phone calls and emails from us trying to figure out what was going on. We decided we would just book an appointment with him (which took another two weeks because he isn't in Calgary all of the time) to pick up the suits, and I'm certain that they were never even altered. They looked like they did before. Peter offered to alter them again and we could just pick them up from the alteration place in a week (which left a two day buffer before the wedding). Since one of the groomsman was wearing the suit, we asked where this alteration place is and we can just go there right now. Peter said "I don't know what the place is called and I don't really know where it is...". What a joke. We said we would keep the suits and get them altered at our own place. There was no way I was going to rely on Peter. He said that we can send him the alteration bill and he'll pay us back, but I know that was the biggest joke of all. We'll never see that money back.Peter, thanks for nothing.

We ordered shirts from the Calgary location and paid for them to be shipped to our house so we did not have to go back downtown. I got an email September 5th stating that they shirts were ready to be picked up and to schedule an appointment. I reminded him that we paid extra for shipping and he said alright they would arrive Monday. The shirts did not arrive. I have emailed numerous times with no reply. I then call the number and he does not pick up and the voicemail is full.

On March 22nd, 2019- I show up and meet Peter Parvez to get a made to measure suit. I get measures, pay in full and am informed I would receive a notice in 6-8 weeks when the suit is ready for pick up. I do not hear back from Peter Pravez until I email him in June 2019. Below is a timeline of the events that has occurred since: On June 11, 2019 I email Peter to inform him that I am still waiting on my pants On June 13, 2019 I received an email from Peter Pavez stating my suit was ready. The suit pants did not fit, and new pants were to be ordered. In September 2019 I still have not received new pants. On September 20th Peter Parvez confirms that we need to do another refitting for 10am on October 3 2019. I follow up with an email to confirm. On October 3rd- I email Peter to inform him that I was at his office for the refitting, he was not at his office although he had confirmed that we would be there. The receptionist tried to call him but to no answer. I email him and only get a response that "I shall make a new pair for you" October 4- I email Peter to ask him how he was going to handle sizing October 4- I receive the following email from Peter ".... , So sorry I could not make it Calgary this week . I shall be working again on 17th and 18th of October . Can I please meet you any of those 2 days ?" October 4th- I confirm that I can meet on October 18th for the resizing. On October 18th I met with Peter at his office takes my measurements. He informs me the pants will be ready for pick up in 10 business days. ON November 13th I email Peter to ask when I can pick up my pants - He did not respond On November 18th- I emailed Peter again asking when I could pick up my pants. - He did not respond On Friday November 22 2019 I emailed Peter again about my pants - He did not respond On November 29th- I emailed Peter again informing him that I would be filing a complaint unless he responded by Monday. - He responded immediately stating that the pants would be ready for pick up on Thursday December 5 at any time. He sent me a confirmation email for the time and pick up. On December 5th, 2019 - I show up to his office, he is not there for a second time. The receptionist goes to his office and says there's no pants for me for pick up. She tries to call Peter on numerous numbers and informs me that no one is picking up.
