The groomer makes it incredibly difficult to get your pet in by not having a customer centered schedule. This person seems to care more about his or her personal life than the services that are supposed to be provided. Every single time I call the person doesn't seem to be available. You may as well go somewhere else.

I came in just to see some animals and kill some time in between errands. The store was easy to navigate and associates greeted me as I walked around. The cages were clean and the animals were clearly cared for. They have cats from rescues for adoption too! Super cute! Love the tanks and reptiles! They had quite the selection of fresh water fish, no salt water sadly. The planted tanks were full and had massive variety and I did end up leaving with a couple plants for my tank. Petland is always a fun place to visit!

I'd leave zero stars if I could. Went last week and they had kittens but not available until April 24th, we asked if we could buy one early and pick up on the 24th but told we were not allowed. Showed up when the doors open on the 24th and all the kittens were sold the day before. Thanks for nothing Petland, and an even bigger thanks for nothing to the manager in charge the day before.

My girlfriend and I purchased a Bunny from this location and we were extremely pleased with the service and knowledge provided to us by Alex. She made sure we had all the knowledge at hand to decide on getting our Bunny before committing to taking home the little guy. She suggested appropriate housing and supplies and we have been following that advice and visiting her for further advice since. She didn't try to sell us things we didn't need as I openly said we will buy literally anything you suggest. Thanks again for your continued help with our Bunny.

I’m so happy that Kyle made an exception for me as I wasn’t aware that the shop closes early on weekends . It was an emergency as I had ran out of dog food . Thank you Petland!!!

This is by far the best Petland in Calgary. I love the staff or extremely friendly. When I adopted my axolotl from here, they called a few days later to check up on how she was doing and adjusting.They regularly bring in a special order of her food for me so I don’t have to go all the way north.All of the fish tanks/enclosures Are very well maintained and very well kept. All of the animals in store are very well loved and very well treated.If you are going to adopt an animal I strongly recommend this place!!
