I love coming to this place. The staff are incredibly kind and friendly. When I asked if we could change my deadname out of the system they were able to help me with that no problem. So welcoming and so kind. 10/10 thank you.

My experience at PetLand was not as I had hoped. I went there to see the cats and check out the cat room that they have. There was a kitten in the room and some kids around. The kitten in the room was obviously uncomfortable and retreated into his litter box, and the kid that was in the room was reaching into the litter box to force the kitten out. I eventually went in there and the kitten would not come out and was at the back of the litter box. More kids kept going in there and sticking their hands in the litter box. I am just concerned that the staff doesn't monitor who goes into those rooms to play with the cats and they aren't stopping the mistreatment of these cats. Pets aren't toys!

I had seen the most gentle 3 yr. Old Cat. Whoever loved her for 3 years left a loving kindness in her heart ❤️ She is grey with a totally black nose. She needs a quiet individual or family home. If I had my own home, I would adopt her.

The Petland in West Hills is fine overall. The checkout staff are usually pleasant, and we often stop by for supplies for our reptiles or our bunny. It can be hard to find help on the floor, staff are often scarce when you need assistance, but it’s fine for picking up the basics.
Prices are a bit higher than other pet stores, but they do carry a good selection of Fluval items and other essentials. Convenient and reliable when we need something quick.

Fantastic pet store! Juan, the manager, truly cares about the animals and the customers. He went above and beyond by letting my kids meet and hold some of the animals -such a memorable experience!

Amazing pet store with great selection for our dog that has many allergies to (mostly fillers such as flax) for her treats and everything we could need. Her occasional gastrointestinal issues w #2s have been resolved with their quality treats and Instict RawBoost Shakers (gut health recipe) 😊 soo grateful
Everyone that works here, like the people up front, are so good with the public too..very personable

Very great customer service 100% recommend. Called in to ask for an availability of a product and immediately hanged up after being asked a question. What a great employee, its a guy who sounds like peter griffin

Store has been known to sell sick animals and claim they are healthy. Avoid Krista the assistant manager as she is rude, unprofessional, and a little hateful. Proceed with caution when doing business at Petland WestHills.

Went into buy dog food. Was not sure which brand. I was helped immediately. Helped me pick what I needed. The lady at the cashier was pleasant and helpful. I'll drive across the city to come to this location.

Small inappropriate/crammed housing for many of the animals. Children playing with the animals unsupervised. I didn’t know pet stores could still treat animals like this - super appalling.
