BEWARE THIS 7-11/PETRO-CANADAI stopped in on Saturday evening about 6pm for fuel.I walked into the store & handed the Operator $70.00 cash & my Petro-points card, requesting $70.00 Reg fuel on pump xx.The Operator processed my order, handed the receipt & I returned to the pump area.I glanced at the receipt & noticed that my Petro-points count was significantly lower than it should be.Upon Investigating, I determined that my Petro-points account had ALSO been debited 70,000 points (equivalent to $70).When I returned to the cashier counter to enquire, I was informed it was a mistake, however neither store Operator could return the 70,000pts to my account.I asked for a refund of the $70.00 & the $20&$50 I provided could not be located to be returned. I was returned $70.00 in smaller denominations.By my regular Petro-Can station operator, I am lead to understand that to utilize points from an account takes significant processing to be sure the customer is indeed wanting the transaction to proceed.I am not sure what was actually happening at this fuel station however I was and am quite concerned & upset by what I perceive to have been happening.I want to be clear, I am a life-long Petro-Can customer, only get fuel elsewhere out of necessityAgain, BEWARE of your fuel transactions at this location !!
