Very disappointing and concerning experience
Our first grooming experience at PetSmart was acceptable, and Janet did an okay job. Unfortunately, the second visit completely changed our perception.
During our second appointment at the 130 Avenue location, Roxy groomed our dog. About 20 minutes later, she called us saying she could not continue because the dog was presenting wounds. These wounds appeared while our dog was under her care. When we arrived, our dog had visible injuries on his chest, was bleeding, and was trembling. Roxy was also trembling while speaking to us and implied that the injuries may have already existed, mentioning that he had “strange fur.” We immediately removed our dog from the store while he was still bleeding.
Today, we scheduled another grooming appointment specifically with a different groomer. However, Roxy was present again and involved herself in the appointment, even though we were not scheduled with her. This made us extremely uncomfortable. It feels like she has a personal issue with our family, and we do not understand why.
Because of this situation, we had to cancel the grooming once again. We no longer feel safe leaving our dog there. This experience has been stressful, upsetting, and deeply concerning regarding our pet’s safety.
We expected much better care, accountability, and professionalism from PetSmart.

I was very disappointed this time for the bath and brush for my dog
He when in on Sat 4th Oct as he had just finished his 5weeks of neededimg to be bathed and from Saturday to today you can't say he bathed as he has a smell and a strong dog smell which he had when we booked him as he got neuted and had just been in his cage and really needed a good shampoo

We have been bringing our dog here for almost a year now to get him groomed. The groomers are all fantastic and show a true passion and love for the dogs they groom. Always very welcoming and do such an amazing job bathing and cutting our dogs hair! The staff in the rest of the store are great too and are always friendly and knowledgeable. Big fan of this location!

We love it here but most importantly so does our dog! Staff always greet her and give her treats at the register. Wish they would stop hiking prices and have better sales to keep quality food affordable. Store is usually nice and clean.

Great location! From the grooming salon to the sales floor, everyone here cares so much about pets! I know they have some struggled with their fish system but I always see the associates doing their best! 10/10!

This is a great place to buy things for your pet. They have a wide variety of food and treats for your dog, cat, bird, or fish. They have a good selection of collars, leashes and harnesses. If you don't have a pet you can adopt one through them. They also do pet grooming. The staff are friendly and helpful whatever your needs may be. Yesterday I took my dog Rio in for a nail trim it took less than 5 minutes. Now the nails are sharper than they were. Don't think that I would recommend them for that if that is the best they can do.
