We were first-time visitors, getting ready to adopt our little kitten and buying supplies for him. The staff were so patient in explaining everything and recommending exactly what we needed. We really appreciate their help!

The staff is extremely rude, the employees refuse opportunities, and the manager is extremely rude and turns his voice upside down when you ask for help. He seems to have no time, even though he himself stood there doing nothing.

I came to pick up the cat I had adopted, but the manager refused to help me and said it was too late and that they were already closed. Their working hours are until 8 p.m., and I arrived at 6 p.m.
A very unpleasant woman with black hair — presumably an employee — behaved rudely. When I politely asked for help, she just stood there and laughed at me, implying that I was not in my right mind.
The manager was very aggressive and said he was too busy because there were many people in the store, even though there was no one there at the time.
This is by far the rudest staff I have ever encountered.

I visited this PetStore in Calgary as an Uber driver shopping on behalf of a customer. I was not familiar with this store.
The order contained 8 items. I managed to find only 3. The other 5 items were not available in the locations where they were supposed to be. I asked store employees for assistance.
One employee openly said she didn’t know where the items were and told me to look for them myself. When I asked to speak with the store manager, the situation got worse.
The manager told me directly that they “don’t have time for such nonsense” as helping a customer. This was said without any attempt to assist, explain, or show basic professionalism.
This level of customer service is unacceptable. If helping customers is considered a waste of time in this store, then management has a serious problem with how they define their job.

They don’t seem to show enough care when grooming dogs. My dog came home with blade scratches, was terrified, and had a hard few days after his grooming appointment there. He became anxious and barked in new environments — something he never did before. He’s back to normal now, but the experience made it clear the staff don’t handle pets with the level of care and attention they deserve. Definitely not going back.

I’ll shop there for stuff for my dog but I won’t go to the groomers there again. I took my dog in and couple days after I noticed that when they cut his hair he had a rash on his private parts. I’m not sure if they disinfect the stuff or what happened but I will not take my dog to the groomers there again

The staff in charge of stocking the shelves spend more time talking to each other and playing with pets that come into the store rather than doing their jobs. They're also incredibly rude when you ask them for help finding stuff. The cashiers at the front are nice enough.

I went to PetSmart to buy my dog some dog food, the products were easy to find and the staff were super friendly. I recommend using PetSmart for your every dog need. I will be back.

Cashier running his mouth is not good for business. I was in line at the store, after the customer he helped, he looked past and offer help to the people that were not in line. He goes on to tell me they were there first. (Not sure how if I am in front of them) respectfully I let the guy behind me in front.
After the 2 were in front of me he kept going on and on how I was wrong and the whole front area is a line. Why have lines of you will just get people to group up.
Will not be back.
