Breakfast at Phils is such a memory of mine from childhood so glad to be able to bring my son here to keep it going. Blueberry pancakes, chocolate pancakes and a Reuben sandwich. All good meals.

Breakfast was perfect! Service and food both turned out perfectly. We hadn’t been here in years and will definitely go back.

Something about the Denver Omelette spoke to me, so I ordered that for lunch. After a while. Server was engrossed in conversation with (apparently) a relative of one of the other servers, and provided me with the worst service I've had here. She had time to sit in a booth with the other person in an adjacent area of the restaurant I could clearly see. Which continued through the meal - drink refills were a long way from prompt and there was another wait for my bill. So that was disappointing. The menu notes the Denver is "served on toast," and that's certainly true. But by the time it got to my table (after a fair wait), the toast was distinctly soggy, and the Denver was lukewarm-to-cool. Perhaps serving the toast on the side would cure the soggy issue. The ham, peppers and other veg in the omelette were a bit sparse, and lacking in flavor. Bottom line is this is a menu item that I won't be giving another chance. Darn it, because I LIKE Denver omelettes.

Located on Hwy 16 & Hampton Inn. Large restaurant. Plenty of seating and parking spaces available. Covid vax and or negative PCR test required. Anyway...breakfast was very good. Coffee is weak. Service is great. Relatively busy.

A breakfast here is another of our Calgary visit traditions. The menu seemed smaller, likely due to COVID, but there was still plenty of choice. I had pancakes and strawberry compote: very tasty. My wife had eggs Benedict, though she said the sauce was a bit gelatinous. Too bad. Service was good and the coffee flowed. See you next time.

All in all good service staff are friendly and polite. Breakfast was different in the sense that they rename products they have there own style of a sausage which was tasty. It’s also the old consent of the waitress calls the order into the kitchen which l haven’t heard in a while. All in all breakfast was tasty and enjoyable you also get a coffee flask which is good saves the waitress coming by with coffee pots.

Phil's used to make excellent pancakes but have lately been overcooking them. This is not a single event because I've experienced this three different times now. So it's a problem that's not going away. Pancakes that have a burnt taste just don't have any appeal. I hate to send them back because it just causes a big delay. Why aren't the Managers on top of this? Don
