I've sold three times at their location and have had great success each time! My best tip is to bring in good quality used items and it helps if they're branded. They took 90% of the stuff I brought in for that reason. Will definitely be back, it's a win win for both sides! :)

Absolutely disgusting in this store, almost as bad as the employees, we weren’t even dealing with said employees and she was extremely disrespectful and glaring at customers for no reason. She had bangs and a green shirt on and it was disgusting the way we were treated.

It’s decent for second hand clothes but not for selling them. They didn’t accept any of my clothes that I was try to sell, which is fine and understandable, but they didn’t bother to fold them back into the bag. They just shoved them all back in all crumpled and unfolded. Very disrespectful staff in general.

Sadly unimpressed. I've taken my gently used higher end items to a location in saskatoon before and always had a very good return. Today I took in a big haul of very good quality in season items and only sold one pair of boot. Everything else was terribly low balled. I understand the store has to make a profit. But when they are selling similar items for $100 and only offer me $8 mine, yes I'm a going to very disappointed. I think the standard of who ever is doing the valuing, needs to be reevaluated.

I came in with a bag of clothing, and my boyfriend came in to pick up my clothes. Only one of my clothing items were selected and they offered $8, understandable. However they never gave back the clothes they didnt accept. They automatically kept all my extra clothes without asking him. All the times i've been previously they've asked whether or not i wanted my clothing back to to donate it to the store. I will also add that he came in well before closing time. Now I come home to finding out all the clothes in the bag have been taken for $8. Super disappointing considering ive been selling my clothes with this location for a long time.

What an absolute joke.I went in with 2 big bags full of nice lululemon and aritzia clothes, they offered me $8.48 so I ended up leaving with both bags. The staff are also so rude,Don’t waste your time here.

Good service! We brought in some clothes to sell, and although we didn't get much, the girls were very sweet. Also, they have a good selection of clothes.

Thrift store items for consignment prices. I went in today and after taking a thorough look, I found may stained, ripped, and OLD items in their inventory. The store also just smells sort of bad. They were also playing a super bad rap song with generous use of the N word. I’ve been to many other Plato’s closet locations and this one feels like they took donated clothes from goodwill and are trying to pass them off as current and stylish. So so many deodorant stains on shirts, and they can’t be bothered to make sure things aren’t inside out on the hanger.

I’ve been to Plato’s multiple times and two specific coworkers have really stood out to me and made such a meaningful impact on my experience. Keya and Annie are the sweetest souls and always manage to make my day With their kind comments while always helping me out fast and efficiently

They took 7 item offered me $40 … brand new white vans with the tag on . New Kurt Geiger Purse worth over 177 Nike shoe jeans and shirts all in good condition and all we got was $40 you’re better off selling your stuff online as they will make more selling it than what they are going to give you .

I guess it is good if you are a size 2, but there was nothing for a full figured woman. Went with my daughters and it just left me feeling bad about myself. Would not return.

I don't leave many reviews, but when you receive the kind of personal service as I did from Emma at Platos Closet, something must be said. I am from out of town and had an unexpected dinner and the age-old adage of somewhere to go but nothing to wear. A friend recommended Platos Closet. From the second I walked in I was greated with a friendly face and an eagerness to help. I needed a budget friendly head to toe outfit. Emma's knowledge of fashion and the store's inventory was uncomparable. After a few min of discussion she had a great sence of what I was looking for and my size. She helped me put together what is deffinatly now my favorite outfit. Since I am back home and can't come tell her myself I'd like to take this moment to say that I have never gotten so many compliments in one evening before.Emma thank you for one of the best shopping exspriances I've had in a very long time. And for reminding me how great you can feel in just the right outfit.

Personally i was not really impressed by Platos Closet. It was under the impression its more of a consignment higher end store but id say its a step above value village. Not enough high end goods but the gently used items they do carry are in better care then I expected. Some of the items are marks as regular price (brand new). Ex. I saw a gently used ardenes bomber jacket for 14$. I might as well buy it new as Ardnes is already pretty cheap. Id suggest googling the product before purchasing to see if you would be willing to spend the extra 10$ on an item and get it brand new.The front counter is not esthetically pleasing but the rest of the store is well kept. Customer service is friendly. Location is a bit hidden but easy to navigate on google maps.

Honestly absolutely appalled by the manager of this location and their "policies". I came today with my 9 month old in tow in her stroller. After shopping for a while I wanted to try some stuff on, but was made aware I could not use the accessibility change room BECAUSE THEY USE IT FOR INSTAGRAM PHOTOS!!They expected me to just leave my baby out in the open while I tried all of my stuff on! No way that was ever happening. I brought my concerns to the manager who barely looked to be 20 years old, and he was completely unprofessional, unapologetic, and didn't have a care in the world. He stated it was their "policy" but could not provide it in writing. If you have a stroller, kids, or need accessible change rooms for whatever reason, DO NOT GO HERE.

I wish I read these reviews. I have to say the staff was chill and polite. The store itself when I came in wasn’t appealing and right away I knew my items weren’t a fit for this place. I understand they have a criteria of items they follow to make purchases but even browsing the items in store was something I wouldn’t want to purchase myself, so it made sense my almost new Aritzia items weren’t wanted. If you have good gently used items your better off selling them on Poshmark.
