As a small business client of RBC's for over 25 years, I want to express how disappointed I am with this branch and RBC's service overall. I regularly deposit large US dollar cheques into my business account. The branches have now taken out the business wickets, forcing me to stand in a large line up to do a US to Canadian dollar deposit. They have also taken out reception so one can't ask questions. I am so annoyed that I have to stand in line for up to 30 minutes to give this bank my money. Come on Royal ... you used to have great customer service. What's happened???

They should have cots that you can lay on while you are waiting in line. I arrived around 1:10 PM on a Saturday to a line up that was all the way to the back door and only 3 tellers working. I experienced a long line up at this branch before and it had taken about 45 minutes to get to a teller so I got right back in my car and drove to the Crowfoot branch where there was no line up. I would bet that you could drive to any other RBC branch in the city and get to a teller faster than at the Northland RBC. Save yourself some time and just go to the Crowfoot RBC in the first place.

I want to express my gratitude to Blake, the bank's financial advisor, for his excellent service. He thoroughly and constructively explained the different credit card options and helped my friend choose the best one for her needs. Thanks to Blake, my friend now has a credit card that perfectly suits her situation. I highly recommend Blake for his professionalism and dedication to helping customers.

Where to start with this Branch. The long line ups, the poor service or the attitude.
I came in on a Sunday afternoon to use the Instant Teller, only to find a homeless man sleeping in the Foyer. Needless to say I didn't stat around to make a withdrawal. Imagine if that was a Single Woman or Parent with a Child who came in on that scenario.
Because I could not make my transaction that day, I returned to make it on the Following Tuesday. After waiting no less than 50 minutes to make that simple withdrawal over the instant teller max amount (having had major surgery a year ago, it was no easy task to stand for that long), I also made arrangements for an appt to open a safety deposit box for the Coming Friday morning.
That morning I explained I needed a larger box for my personal documents and they replied they did not have any that size, but would see what they could do for me. After leaving me sitting in her office for 45 minutes by myself, they said they could not find one and would call me. that was a MONTH ago & still no word either way.
But, my issues aside, what upset me the most was while I was waiting in the sitting area I witnessed a disabled woman on crutches come up to middle aged heavier set banking representative with a beard, short cut hair & glasses wearing a black sweater and grey dress pants. (you know who you are) and want to speak with a manager to complain about the long lines she had to endure. The Rep was, in my opinion, short and rude with her and actually tried to flip it back onto her for coming in at the wrong time of day. He quickly found another associate to handle her issue and walked away.
Maybe RBC needs a few human rights complaints against them to wake them up to the fact they are NOT above their clientele regardless of their age, gender or race to go along with their recent $7,400,000 fine for Money Laundering & Anti Terrorist guideline violations.

This branch is an embarrassment. I've never been in without the wait being over 20 min. There are 6 wickets and no more than 3 people working at any time.

Horrible bank. Worst I’ve ever dealt with. Wife has had the same experience. Withholding over $100,000 of my money; for over a week, and it is a bank draft: Said the fraud department is doing it. I’ve used this same bank before, sending a draft, to the exact same person. Apparently, they have no record of this. We will be closing all of our accounts, with RBC.Had enough:

Very poor and terrible service. After dealing with one client, there is at least gap of 5 to 10 minutes and agent walk away from their seat.

Terrible service, extremely long line at any time of the day, no matter when you arrive.
Average waiting time is an hour!!! 2 or max 3 tellers working, as somehow others don’t notice the huge line! Other tellers are walking around - why not helping right away when they see the line to the front door!!!
Simple task takes them forever to do, even if you simply want to withdraw the money it takes a million years, thousands of questions and then they tell you that you should go to another bank or they want to give you a draft because they don’t have that much cash (and it’s when you want to withdraw a few k$ only.. not a million.. ) !!! Seriously, no cash IN THE BANK??!!
I’m so fed up with this bank..
And the best part: why the heck tellers are always counting money by hand…?they have machines for it…are we living in some prehistoric times? ..

Terrible customer service. Me and my wife both booked an virtual appointment with Daylan a week prior and WE TOOK TIME OFF OF WORK to accommodate the times they had. They were supposed to send a zoom link and never got one. 20 minutes before the meeting he called us and it rang one time. We called back and there was no answer. We had to call customer service just to get him to call us back. A half hour after the meeting was supposed to begin he called us finally and said he didn't have time to help us. No regard for people's time. He had an attitude and was argumentative on top of it.
