I had a disappointing experience at the self‑checkout today.Cashier name ASCALLU.When I needed assistance, she overseeing the area was noticeably rude and seemed uninterested in helping. Instead of offering support, they responded with an attitude that made the situation more frustrating than it needed to be. Self‑checkout is supposed to make things easier, but the lack of professionalism from the staff member made the visit unpleasant. I hope the store addresses this, as good customer service makes a big difference.

Went to do my daily chores and overheard one of the bakers talking about how he would love to kill UCP supporters. I am disgusted that people like this are allowed to say things like this in the open and get away with it. Disgusting professional attitude from safeway

I was waiting to have my groceries scanned when the cashier was gossiping with another cashier about double scanning an extra water and how a customer was upset to pay for something twice. Then pulled my cart out of the way. So much unprofessionalism.

I have been going here 30+ years it used to be one of the nicest Safeway’s in town. The staff they hire I question. All of the long time employees in the front are friendly, Levi at the deli is quite rude every time I deal with her.. I was having a good day until encountering her presence as usual. After her attitude and reading the reviews of others I will only go here for certain items if I absolutely have to. Whoever the original owners let this place be taken over and be run by has changed their priorities altogether seems like profit is the main goal now. Go to crowfoot location and feel the difference.

I just wanted to take a few minutes of my time to acknowledge an employee from the charcuterie counter. This young I believe half black girl served me and she was so lovely she took her time and really paid attention to make sure my order was done properly and gave me an amazing customer service. She made my day after having a long day at work you can truly tell she cares about making the customers happy.

I buy a single case of coke and the lady at the register acts like it’s a three ton truck, literally refused to move it at all because it’s “heavy”…..third time this has happened….Sheer unadulterated laziness and a horrible work ethic is on full display with the staff here… I also see lots of negative reviews about the bakery that are valid and ignored by the store management…I won’t be back this place is a joke

The bakery at this particular safeway refused to take my order over the phone.
Ive been placing this same order at safeways for over a decade.
Was probably a good thing judging by the reviews.

The Safeway itself is an alright store. My problem lies with the Fresh Food counter. Ordered a turkey sandwich and she placed one thin slice of turkey on it, I asked for more and the employee, Barbara, added one more thin slice… For a sandwich costing $10+ I expect to get more than 2 see through slices of meat. And was charged extra for the second slice of turkey.
Every time Barbara serves me it is a bit frustrating and slow. Maybe some extra training would help, as she is probably a nice person. Please don’t put sauce on people’s sandwich’s before they go in the toaster. This is the last step. Follow the steps Safeway has printed out, not how you make it at home.

Stopped in to grab a few things on Sunday. Only one till open. Long line up, absolutely disgraceful. I should not be penalized because I expect to receive full-service a.k.a. “service”. I will never scan my own groceries - I don’t work there and now I won’t be shopping there either.
