Calling police on your own locked-out, protesting staff because you don't want to pay livable wages is deplorable. We should be allowed to give zero stars for that nonsense.

My most recent trip to Safeway wasn’t for a big grocery run — it was simply to use the washroom. Out of courtesy, I picked up some grapes, and the staff member who helped me access the washroom was so kind and attentive.
When she came back, I joked, “This is my price of entry for the lavatory,” as I showed her the grapes, and she laughed so much. That little interaction completely made my day.
It’s moments like this that make a store feel welcoming. The staff were helpful, approachable, and even willing to share a laugh. Great customer service goes a long way, and this Safeway delivered that perfectly.

The birthday cakes are amazing. I love that you can do real fruit filling for an extra $6, and can really customize the flavours of your cake. This location is my go-to for my kids' birthdays 😊
