Made the mistake of not reading the box and assuming a store brand pizza that was as pricey as the name brand pizzas wouldn't be half the size. A pizza superstore sells 4 for 12 dollars, safeway wants 8 bucks, for a 3 dollar pizza!
Maxwell coffee was also increased by 5 dollars, from 11 to 15.99, and the compliments brand which isnt even cheaper then name brand coffee isn't stocked anymore. Among other items, my bill was up almost 50% on staple items my family buys.
We will catching the train to super store from now on, these price increases are out of control.

I can't stand going to this safeway anymore, I'll drive to crowfoots to avoid this one. The produce is disgusting, I have gone so many times to get romaine lettuce or zucchini or whatever other vegetables and they are always so low on stock and the items they do have are wilted or terrible condition and shouldn't even be on the shelf. When I ask the produce department if they have more in the back (more than there 3 nasty wilted romaine heads) they always say nope that's all we have. Considering this one was recently renovated its worse than it was before.

I mean, I am a tad biased as a previous Safeway employee, but this Safeway is especially pleasant to shop at.
I highly recommend it.
