This is my main Safeway cause it’s the closest.
Yesterday on discount day, so many of the staff just went above and beyond. So I wanted to acknowledge that.
My son was carrying a balloon turtle, and it came off the string and floated to the ceiling. I calmed him down and convinced him the turtle was happy there, and then the manager fetched it for him. The tills were busy and one exceptional young fellow opened a new one for us.
The customer service fellow even saved the last pack of yves dogs for us.
I continue to see the same faces here, and it makes me think it must be a great place to work with really good teamwork since people stay.
I worked grocery stores myself for a long time in my early 20’s and I really like being able to spot that dynamic. Every person has always been so nice to us and I just want to thank you all!
Also, please never renovate this store! It’s the last one I swear that still feels like Safeway

Great place to shop with amazing staff who are helpful and knowledgeable about their store. One of the best Safeway we have been in. Sam and Randy are great

I go here to get certain juices for my diet like beet juice , they also have very affordable hot food 😋 hight recommend trying the deli salads as well particularly the broccoli salad 🥗

I often go to Safeway because despitethe stupid self-checkout movement, they always have at least 1 till with a real person open. Until today!! Trash.

Was having issues with my bank card. On Nov 13, 2024. Jenn (cashier) was very helpful. We tried different tills in case it was their debit machines. She put my groceries in the deli cooler until I returned a half hour later and paid for my groceries. There are still some very helpful people in this world. Thank you Jenn!

Good variety of international goods besides local products. Great Deals with a Scene+ account or your Scotiabank Scene card. While the price of Groceries is high at times... Lol... It helps when you have a scene card.

Terrible service and very unhelpful - purchased a gift card for 125 and when I went to use value less . Desk person told me to call gift card company . So terrible
