I have an elite status membership and have spent thousands here over the years. I blatantly was lied to by a very botched looking worker herself who claimed to have used a remover on splat (a dye known for being hard to remove) that worked, I was very wary of it but she said she used it on dark red and it removed completely. So i bought it along with $60 of other products she forced down my throat. Well obviously due to this rating, she does not have enough knowledge to work in a hair store as the colour has not budged. I just called in and politely explained the situation to someone who genuinely sounded like a middle schooler, and was not offered a refund, or even any advice. This used to be the most knowledgeable sally’s in calgary, seems like over night the place got swarmed by incompetent employees who have never had any salon experience. Trust me just order your products off amazon, their on average $5 cheaper and your bound to experience better customer service.

Stopped by to get some shampoo and conditioner this past Friday evening. There was one other customer in the store and seemingly no staff. Finally I saw a staff member, was not greeted, rather she ducked out of sight immediately. I went about selecting my product, was happy with the price clearly listed on the shelf, and went to the checkout. My family of four waited almost 5 minutes before the hiding staff member alerted another staff member of our need for service, even though I said excuse me a couple of times and tried to flag her down twice. When he came out he was pleasant and helpful, the only reason for the second star. He rung up my product and I was a bit confused at paying double what I expected. Apparently ‘someone’ moved the entire stock to a spot it did not belong. I like that he didn’t immediately chuck the staff under the bus for poor stocking practice, and I think if I was uppity about it I could have got a discount, but I just agreed to the regular price. I feel like it probably wasn’t his fault, and neither was the poor service prior, as he was clearly eating when he came to help us. Thank you to the staff member that helped, this review is in no way a reflection of his assistance, but if management is looking they need to check their cameras more often for staff that ignore customers.

Came in about 2 weeks ago. The store itself is fine but don't bother talking to the staff. Was not greeted upon entry, and when checking out the girl was very rude and stand-offish, even walked away from the till without saying anything as I was paying. The other older woman working was just as bad, both were having unprofessional conversation with another customer and couldn't be bothered to care for any other customers. Just get what you need and get out.

Visited today with my sister and Haily was absolutely lovely. She directed us to deals on products and we had an amazing conversation about tattoos. She is lively and very good at making connections with customers, even in that short time you’re in the store.

I came here to get some hair dye and was witness to some horrible customer service that caused me to leave. A lady walked in looking to return a hair dryer. She had a receipt and had even called to confirm she could return the product, which staff acknowledged. They refused to do the return, even for store credit because "It's a shame that we have to cut the cord, just because you don't like something". Which was repeated to the customer several times. Thats a ridiculous thing to blame on a customer. Your store policy to destroy returned product is the fault of the company and the company alone. To guilt a customer over something like that is ridiculous. On top of all that they were just blatantly rude to said customer overall. Talking down to her and talking over her. The customer was way more polite than I'd have been in the same situation.

i went to exchange 2 hair colours as the lady gave me the wrong ones. She didn’t take any of them back calling it “my mistake” and spoke to me very rudely and horribly. She was a Indian lady. This experience made me feel horrible and i will never be returning to this place again.

I was here a few weeks ago and I just wanted to give big kudos to the lady who helped me I tried to look at my receipt for her name but there was nothing. (She said she was pregnant if that helps determine who helped me) but honestly this lady deserves a raise. All around her service was amazing so very kind and helpful . You can tell she goes over and beyond to make you feel comfortable! One of the sweetest souls I’ve ever met! Xo

I visited Sunridge Calgary location a couple of times on the weekend and was assisted by friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately I had to return several items, one of which ( a +_ $35 dollar hair oil) I must have unfortunately misplaced the receipt for. The other items, I did still have the other receipt for . Since they have me and my purchases on file I thought they might be able look up my purchase and still honor their return policy for that item. The clerk this evening, Rania told me she was unable to look it up in their system and that they were not allowed to use their computer record of my purchases to verify the item was bought there in order to complete the return. She stated it was now policy that they could not do this because “people have bought things at other stores and tried to return them here instead”. I subsequently asked her to look up one of the other items I bought there so I “could know what brand it was”. Rania was easily able to look that up and then admitted she could also ascertain that I had indeed bought the hair oil I was trying to return there, but again refused to even do an exchange or store credit. I will never shop at this store again and will make sure my friends etc know about my unpleasant experience.

Was helped out by a staff member on March 11th who helped my partner and I find the right products for dying hair and even gave us some handy tips on how to apply the dye. The result was fantastic. Will definitely come back!

I was here just before lunch on February 9, and had the best experience. The sales Rep was so wonderfully positive, and full of all the information I needed.I didn't end up buying anything today, but will be back soon.But just stopping in to your store made my day better. Ty

Oh my goodness, I never was a person to go to places buy beauty stuff,I mostly buy online.But I came by chance through a friend, I am so glad.Things are way way cheaper here.Rota was amazing help, explaining so many things, recommending a few things that would really work for my damaged hair.Without a bit pressure to by things. She advised to look things up online to see reviews.

Purchased a Wahl Super Close twin head foil shaver August 20th, now a month later it wont take or hold a charge, wont operate when plugged in. Took it back with the receipt and was told to send it back to Wahl myself. Expensive shaver that only lasted 30 days and the retailer wont stand behind what they sell. Retailers that wont stand behind the products they sell dont deserve my business, Amazon costs less and delivers.

Do not use their website!!!Okay so I decided to order from their website because I was told it was cheap then in store but it’s a lie. None of the products were eligible for 2 hr deliver or pick up. Either way I order from them and it charged me extra because it was in USA dollar even though I was in the Canadian website I charged me card 50 dollars more and I was not aware of this. The store it self is alright and the cashier was nice but not that helpful if your going to shop here make sure you know what you want to buy“ because they aren’t hairstylist so their option won’t be that useful, their job is to sell so of course they will show your the most expensive item even if their a much more cheaper version that work way better.”
