Friendly enough but generally incompetent. Staffers largely constricted by Scotiabanks capitalistic, greedy uncaring, profit driven policies. Disappointed me on several occasions. Now looking to switch over to credit union.

Very rude staff. Called the main Scotia line and they gave me the branch managers name of Julie, called her to address the issue, 2 weeks later no call back. Apparently she does not care if her staff are rude. Very disappointed in the service and I have been a Scotia customer for over 35 years. I will also add that when you take cash in and they put it in the machine make sure you and the employee count it out together. One time they took my cash right away and put through the cash counter and the machine missed counting $20!

I just came to pick up my credit card and there are paper notice on the door they are close 12-1pm due to short staff
They should edit information on homepage and Google so that customer won’t waste their precious time or can’t they call some help from other branch to upstaff???

Worst banking experience ever. I was trying to deposit some cash. I was asked to show the receipt where the cash came with, and how I went through the custom at the airport. Oops I guess no point to continue with this bank anymore. It does not even deserve a star.

The ATM is now only open during the hours the bank is open.

Were polite both over phone and in-person. The employee who was helping me made a mistake but was quick to apologise and correct it. Keep it up!

Prior to my experience today at this location, I did not mind this location. As my mothers POA, this bank has been the most frustrating to work with.Today, the teller Greyson who has absolutely the worst costmer service skills 'helped' me. When trying to close my mom's account, he adviced me it was against policy for him to do this without my mom (who has dementia. And unable to come in, hence the inacted POA) I stated the manager at the ranchlands location said I could come into any branch. And I had the email to show it. He instead refered to my private info of employment (which I am uncomfortable with the fact he can refer to) and said it again was against policy. I asked to talk to a manager or call someone. He refused. As I walked away, he told me I should be more professional!! Why is his individual working in customer service. And it's employees just like him who make this Bank impossible to work with.Fyi- drove immediately to another branch. At this branch an employee was able to do what was needed and so polite in 5 mins. The manager of this location was near, asked why I didn't go to the closer branch? There were 3 people able and willing to help. Seems like Greyson and his branch needs more training on all accounts.

Lovely is wonderful! I had a really great experience working with her. She explained my options for investments in a way that made sense while helping me find options that were in my best interest. She was easy to talk to and made the whole experience really positive! I would recommend her to anyone.

There is a reason why this location ratings is low…poor customer experience. I have always had bad experiences at this location, the other time it was a staff who needed to close by 5pm and i was there 4:45pm and i didn’t come with my credit/debit card and she was like they couldn’t attend to me…only for me to go to another branch and they authenticated me without my card, address on file and phone number. Today June 21st 9:53am i was the only one in the hall before others came in…i came to apply for a value visa credit card…i was attended to by George, he proceed to say i should come back or book an appointment with their account officers. I told him i can see right now there is no one they are attending to…why do i have to book an appointment …i don’t get it. His supervisor said i should come back…for just a visa card? Now i am enroute to another branch and u can be sure my request would be treated. This particular outlet reeks of incompetence and lazy staff. And i don’t know why i get the feeling that nothing would be done about it.Update: I went to Scotia bank on 734-7th Ave SW …peak time 2pm…yes they had appointments prior to my walk in, but at least they asked if i was willing to wait and I said yes. waited for an account officer for a little while, i was attended to by Jal. So it’s obvious that the problem is not really with me.
