Best bangladeshi food in Calgary. If you are craving some fish curry, beef, or biriyani, this is the place that might satisfy your cravings. I have become a repeat customer here just because of the taste of their food. Jubair bhai is the best.

We brought these tost biscuits from Shawdeshi bazar this week. Both of the packets contained gasoline smell and you can tell those are old stock when you have a bite. All of us in family are sick after having a bite of this biscuit. Shawdeshi bazar management should more careful what they are selling in store and quality of their product. Don’t just bring low quality product for profit your self. Have a test bite before putting any food item on shelves.

Hardly i write any reviews, being for sometime in calgary i have noticed two things they are very good at - customer service , and catering(Goat Kacchi and chicken roast so far) . Also they provide full receipt to you which is easier for customers to see how much were they charged. Am comparing these things among all other Bangladeshis grocery stores I have visited so far.

During our recent visit to Calgary, a family friend introduced us to Shawdeshi Bazar's food. We tried their Beef Biryani and Beef Tehari, along with Shami Kabab. It was authentic and delicious. Try them out (take out only).

Very good shop to find especially bengali food items. Reliable place for fish, meat.
The shop is quite small in size, but item assortment is good. Shop has two sections - they sell grocery, fish, meat items in one section and homemade foods in another.
Though there are some designated parking spots for the shop, finding vacant spot is bit challenging in Peak Hour (around 5-7pm in weekdays)
