The team at Southwest Auto Service is amazing! They were able to squeeze us in for a tire problem amid tire change season and were a pleasure to work with. They’re friendly, honest & we had a great experience. Happy to have a shop close by that we can depend on, we’ll be back for service here if we need it.

My new go to in the neighborhood. I took my car into Southwest auto for the first time for a simple tire change. They did a thorough inspection of the whole vehicle and gave me a detailed breakdown of any issues and if they needed to be dealt with at this time. No pressure at all from them to fix anything at this time, which is always a good sign in my books.
I'll definitely be taking my vehicle back here for future service.

We brought our car in last minute. We were given an exact diagnosis of what needed to be repaired. We were kept informed throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond with the repair. We were even given a courtesy car, which helped us immensely. If you are looking for a a repair shop with honest and experienced staff… this is the place.

I was evacuated from Jasper and arrived in Calgary and my car broke down and needed to be towed to a mechanic. I rang South West Auto Services and although they were very busy, they were kind enough to accept my car. They managed to get the diagnostic done the next day and called me a spoke through the issues with car.
I cannot thank them enough for being so understanding when I was stressed and helping me out so quickly. 5 stars overall.

They deeply insist on only using expensive premium replacement parts, and that's it. There was no discussion on what would be more affordable and still good quality. $4500 later. Now I'm scrambling to find another mechanic.

Very good professional service. I decided to take my 2016 S-Class Mercedes to the neighborhood shop, rather than the dealership. Dealership had mentioned rear brakes needed to be replaced, but Southwest said just the pads needed replacement and the discs could wait until next time the pads were worn out. Car was in for other work as well for a total of 5 business days. Everything completed as promised, at 5% lower than their estimate. Haven't seen that before! These folks know their stuff and, on top of that, are very nice people.

True professionals with incredible service and price! After a poor experience at my dealer shop resulting in an engine oil leak, Matthew and team promptly diagnosed and fixed the issue. I highly recommend them and trust them with my car from now on!

You have found an Honest team and mechanic's you can TRUST. I know it sounds to good to be true. My experience...I do not live in Calgary I live in Vancouver. My son just moved to Calgary and was poised to take an 8 hour drive and his car broke down. I do not know anyone in Calgary so I starting calling shops for availability to diagnose the issue. Mathew at Southwest advised that he can take the car but may need a couple days for it to move up in the queue. I accepted and then called Mathew back in a couple hours asking if there was anyway he can take a look in 24 hours. Mathew stated he would do his best. Mathew delivered, found the issue and I pressured him to fix the issue. Again Mathew was very honest and transparent stating they will do their best. In the end Southwest delivered, my son was able to continue on his trip and I was shocked with the communication and service provided. It took me years to find a mechanic I could trust in Vancouver. Thank you to Mathew and all who worked on my sons car!
