This store owner is a scammer. I do not recommend buying gold here. They will quote you one price but then charge you a much higher price. Do not trust this store, they will steal your money!

We visited few times this shop to buy Jewelry but never paid attention about their charges. This time we traded in old gold chain which was reduced in weight by 5% as stated by them which was accepted by us. We never got a receipt but when we came home then realized it has been deducted more than 5%. We went back and owner tried to manipulate his side by saying that they deduct 5% on gold purity which is 85% for 22k even though this gold chain was purchased from them last year. Also on new purchase they charged $120 per gram which should include everything as per other jewellers as well because we phoned them. When we went back to inquire about extra charges and receipt then to justify his overcharges, he added making (labour) on top of total price which includes everything. So in total he almost overcharged us around $100 but he lost a regular customer. Do not trust anyone now a days, make sure to get detailed receipt to begin with. Later on we got a receipt which it doesn’t have breakdown of all prices. We will never visit them again. We gave him second chance after visiting but he kept justifying himself.

After numerous bad interactions with multiple indian jewellers in northeast, we came across star jewellers as our final shot. The customer service and my entire experience with this company was hands down AMAZING! The jeweller even put his own spin on my piece of jewelry which I’m sure no one else would step out the box with( LOVE IT) . Highly recommend this shop! THE BEST!!
