I had the WORST experience with the service department at this mazda dealership. I recently moved to Calgary from Kelowna and I've only ever taken my car to August Mazda for servicing. They provided the best experience I've ever had, which was not the case at SunRidge Mazda. While dropping my car off for an oil change the male service associate informed me it would be $40 to have my winter tires put on even though they were already on rims and they would have to take my tires off regardless to check my breaks (which is included in the oil change service/ inspection). When I asked why they charged for this as I was never charged at the other mazda location he vocalized they would waive it when I came back to pay.
After getting back home I received a phone call from the service department that my car needed an alignment, I told them I just had one done about 8 months ago and they continued to push this service on me. I just said yes, because the male worker on the phone would not let up or take no for an answer. He also did not provide a price when I asked how much this would cost and just stated "they will go over that with you when you come in to pay". At this point, he said my car was not done and wouldn't be for about another 1-2 hours and then hung up before I could ask anything further. After only being off the phone for 20 minutes, I started receiving multiple phone calls and text messages from different shuttle drivers asking me why I had not called them back yet for a ride to the dealership as they were running out of time. It was only 1pm at this point and the dealership didn't close until 5pm (what I was told when I dropped my car off). I also did not get a phone call that my car was ready yet. After calling the driver back we arranged for them to pick me up around 3pm.
Once back at mazda, I went in to pay my bill and it ended up being around $500 which I was very confused by. The male service worker was extremely rude, and did not take the time to go over my bill or car inspection with me so I looked it over prior to paying. They ended up charging me for the tire change and charged me $200 for an alignment. I became quite frustrated as I was not provided with the price of this on the phone after I asked. I also informed the male worker that I was told the tire change fee was supposed to be waived and he rolled his eyes and said they would not be waiving it. I asked how the rest of the inspection went and he said fine. He seemed very annoyed that I was asking questions. At the other mazda dealership I went to back in Kelowna, they took the time to over each point with me, along with how my battery was doing (which was not even checked on this inspection) and how much tread was left on both sets of tires. This along with the rest of the inspection was not gone over. August Mazda also provided a complementary car wash after each service, and to no surprise this also was not done at Sunridge either.
I have never been talked down to or treated so poorly at a car dealership/ automotive garage before in my life. I will not be going back. Please take this into consideration before taking your car here.

Overall had a decent experience. Kyle was good to work with and not at all pushy. However, they won’t remind you to bring a license plate when you come to pick up your car. So you’ll likely need to shell out another $50 for a temporary one. Remember to bring your plate! (The people before us forgot too.. so..)

I've gotten deals on two Mazdas from them already and both have exceeded my expectations, really grateful for such good service and the care they have for their customers. My personal experience with Nik has been very helpful in terms of finding a car that suits me and finding common ground in the financial aspect of things. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking to get a Mazda, new or used.

This was my second car from sunridge Mazda and I once again could not be happier with the experience. My salesman's name was Kyle, he was very easy to get ahold of, answered all of my questions (even after hours) and the rest of the staff was much the same. I highly recommend Sunridge Mazda to everyone.

very disappointment, we chose CX 5 to buy from this location, it was a good deal but when we were went to pick up our brand new car there were scratches all over it and it was so prominent. when we asked, they said it always happens when you buy car with a dark color. we were shocked. we cancel the deal. Can anyone tell me is this true?

I’ve bought/leased 5 Mazdas from Sunridge Mazda in the past. I like the cars, never had a problem with them. They are under “new” management which must account for the absolutely horrible experience I had with them recently. I asked the sales guy, what’s with the 4000 dollar charge for “accessories”?? Well that’s our “Diamond” package, which gets you 5 oil changes or whatever. Then his manager gets mad at me because of the radio ads they bought for their big event. I’m not joking, he literally said that. Buyer beware, spend your money elsewhere,

My wife and I went into Sunridge Mazda as a walk in and was greeted by JAZZY, he walked us through the process of finding the right vehicle for us. We test drove multiple vehicles until we found the one! He had the knowledge and patients that helped guide us to our new vehicle! I recommend going in to see the gentleman! The finance team and staff were all friendly and all smiles!

Disappointing Post-Sale Service
We purchased a brand-new vehicle from Sunridge Mazda three months ago, and recently, our windshield cracked due to a stone impact. A friend who bought the same car around the same time from a different dealership received a 5-year windshield repair package, so we called Sunridge Mazda to inquire about getting the same package.
Unfortunately, the response we received from Tony in finance was dismissive and rude. He claimed that nothing could be done after a crack has occurred, which we understand might be policy. However, our main concern is the lack of customer service and support from this dealership. After the sale, it seems they’re unwilling to offer any solutions or assistance, which reflects poorly on their commitment to customer care.
We expected a more helpful and service-oriented approach, especially when unexpected issues arise. We hope they reconsider their post-sale customer service policies to improve future experiences.

I bought a used car here. Before I picked it up, they said the door handle would be fixed. But when I picked it up, they told me to wait two weeks. Now I have waited for a month and the door handle has not been fixed yet.
