If you wanna learn to Dive you have come to the right place, the staff and all the instructors are the best in town and the owner September is simply amazing. They will take you in, teach you, make you feel comfortable and not push you but guide for a greater experience, and at the end of it they take you in as a member of there extended family of Divers. This past weekend was Poker Dive at Lake Chaparral and boy was it fun, so many divers of all levels to get connected with and learn from.
This is the best place to learn and the absolute best to dive with.

I just completed the first part of my PADI open water certification at The Dive Shop and I had a fantastic experience. The entire team is knowledgeable and obviously incredibly passionate about diving and their excitement is infectious! September is a fantastic and patient instructor - she brings in real life examples to learning and is super approachable. September also went above and beyond accommodating the next steps of the open water certification and dry suit add on for me and I am very grateful! The banter between instructors was very entertaining and made the weekend of diving fun. When I was finished the course Stevie helped me pick out all the gear I need and was also friendly and knowledgeable. I’m excited to finish my certification with The Dive Shop!

We just did our PADI refresher training here. Robert (Rob) was an over-the-top instructor! He went above and beyond to make the class fun while explaining every skill and exercise in a very detailed way. I loved how he explained the WHY of doing things the right way and all the possible consequences of not following the steps properly. Also, the pool was surprisingly warm, which was a plus that made 3 hours of practice in the water comfortable instead of painful. Diving is an extraordinary experience but it has risks, and taking the training is a must to enjoy it and stay safe. Thank you, Rob and the Dive Shop Team!

Jeff the instructor was great with my 10 year old. He took all the time needed to get my son comfortable with being under water. Equalizing was a challenge, But Jeff got him to relax and learn the skill. The entire family had a fantastic time. I highly recommend this place and the team.

Completed the e-learning for the open water dive course and then completed the confined pool dives at The Dive Shop. Called a couple times before the course to ask questions and staff were always very friendly and willing to help on the phone. Nisbet was the instructor for the pool portion and he ROCKED! Very passionate and knowledgeable about scuba diving, it was a real pleasure to learn from him. They also offered a discount on items in the shop after the course, which I thought was very nice. Some people's reviews have complained about price at the shop, but honestly many of the items I compared online were actually on par or cheaper than amazon even. Plus why not pay a few extra $$ and support a local shop. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend.

Just finished the scuba course with Sean Slaughter! He is an amazing instructor! Very knowledgeable and made the class fun with his humour!

A friend recommended the team at the Dive Shop. Arrive close to closing time, the staff were inviting and kind even though it was so close to end of day. I was walked through the best choices for what I believe my needs are and am very happy with my purchase. The Lady with glasses in the showroom is great!
