This is not a UPS store. This is a daytime robbery. I went there to drop off return product for Amazon with their label on it. this place charged me $2 to put a $0.01 tape on it. This place is a shame in Canada in the name of a business. That was the first and last time for me to go here. I'll never ever go to this place again even if they are giving me golden eggs. Go to Purolator about 500 m away from these people, go to Canada Post probably just about 500 m away from these people and they will never charge you for one tape. That would always be my preference from now on. I live just about 100 m away from this place but I would never go here. I read in one of the responses for the reviews above and the store manager says that he introduced policy to charge $$ after whatever incident. So you would charge perpetual amount of dollars to your customers because you had one incident??? I live in the same community, it is a great shame to see a manager that punishes community and every single customer that come to its door because of one simple and very fixable problem.

Came in to fax something but the fax machine was down….
It’s not so much that they couldn’t provide a service that they do constantly it was I was told, not asked or got an apology….
“Fax machine down, go somewhere else” not let me see where else you can go, or come back later.
Would NOT recommend this location.

The store charged me $1 for the tape. I mean this is ridiculous. Who charges money for the tape? They said if I don't want to pay I can take it home and tape it myself. Zero stars for this store and UPS management. See the red sections for the amount of tape added to the shipping label.

I wasn't told that it would cost $1, I was told that it had to be taped and I said, 'Sure, if that's needed'. I asked if the store doesn't have the clear sheet used for the labels and I was told that there are no available sheets for A4 size. Yes I agreed to taping it but there was no other way to attach the shipping label. I'm not sure how charging $1 is helping your employee stabilize emotionally if an incident had happened in the past. This is taking advantage of the customer at the situation who has driven to your store to drop a package. Of course no one would want to go back home to tape it again but in turn will resort to paying $1 to avoid inconvenience however, charging $1 is still not reasonable for this effort. Never experienced this in any other UPS store and I'm sure it's not a UPS policy as well.

I went to drop off a small shoebox, which I had already taped at home. When I arrived, I felt like it could use one more layer of tape, so I asked the staff member if he could help me with that, as the tape was right in front of me. He told me I could either buy a full pack of tape or pay him for just one round of taping. It was ridiculous! I decided not to drop off my parcel at that location and went to another store, where everything went smoothly. I also checked with other locations and found out there is no such policy. I wanted to share this so UPS and customers are aware of what's happening in some stores.

Most horrible service I ever got from a business in Calgary, they're going to take advantage of you, charge you extra money for no reason, extremely bad attitude UPS should do something about it, this place is running your reputation. PLEASE TAKE ACTION

I don't recommend it to anyone. The worst delivery service is trying to rite money from you for nothing! For an international parcel with a declared value in an invoice of 134 usd, they require to pay 173 cad, 140 of which are brokerage services !!! Arguing this by the fact that according to their cost scale, this parcel has the status of High value !!
