UPS Store #67 in Beddington Shopping complex is the worst store for shipping, please avoid it! They lost my document and they do not have any empathy nor do they want to pay the shipping cost.

I continue to have a horrible experience dealing with this location. I brought in a package to be sent down to my Father in Mexico containing some simple creature comforts that he said were hard to find in Mexico, along with some family pictures and a t-shirt. I was concerned with my packing of the box, so I purchased some bubble wrap from them while I was there and an UPS staff member and I re-packed everything and tape it up again.I wanted it to arrive quickly, so due to the weight and the speed of the delivery and the extra insurance I purchased the total came to $216.20. I was told it would arrive in 5-7 business days.I kept using the tracking number to see how close the package was to being delivered, and it seemed to be stuck in customs for an extended period of time, then I got a message it was in a warehouse pending release. Apparently something I had sent down was causing issue. Everything I had purchased for my father were normal items that could be found in Mexico already either in store or through Amazon Mexico (minus a box of Shreddies which he says he can't find) so I wasn't sure what item wasn't allowed. I contacted the Beddington branch to ask for help and clarification on what item was causing the hold up. They said they didn't know and they would contact the UPS Canada office. I then provided permission for UPS to remove whatever item was the issue, to which they said UPS didn't do that, and if I wanted the package sent back it would cost me an additional $183.26.So now I'm at the point where I don't know what item I shipped down is causing issues, UPS won't tell me, they can't remove the item and send the rest of the package and if I want the package back the entire cost to have the box take a trip to Mexico and back would cost me $399.46.I've been talking with Mike at Beddington UPS who doesn't seem to want to resolve the issue at all. I've asked for contact information for a district manager and received nothing. I've asked for information on starting the process for a refund and received nothing.What bothers me the most, besides their apathy, is that they helped me pack the box and saw everything in it. If there was an issue with something, why not mention it right there and then? If a majority of your business is shipping items around the world, you would be more aware of items that are problematic to ship to certain countries than the average Canadian trying to do something nice for their retired 75 year old father living in Mexico.

My experience was excellent. The ladies were enthusiastic and has good service attitude.Patiently explained to me and helped me solve the problem. I definitely recommend this place.

Check pricing at another UPS store.Was told I would be charge $90 for a 6 lbs package to US. Confirmed that was the lowest rate. Didn’t make sense as the last shipment of 27 lbs to US was around $60. Was told it’s because it’s a different US city.Decided to check another UPS store. Same from/to shipping address was $31.Never going back to this store. Not sure how their pricing works or if UPS franchises can charge any price they prefer.

The owner was very rude and loudOffer to charge me extra for help to print another label cause it wasn’t to the owners standardsIf it wasn’t convenient to go to I would not support this location (Beddington)

This UPS is amazing. Tried to ship something through Canada Post and it was rejected, so I went over to UPS. To my surprise they were able to ship it for me. For 2 medium/large boxes I was able to ship for less than $100 before additional add ons. I felt like this was reasonable as I have to ship every year for Christmas. Helen had amazing customer service and helped me get my boxes out. My family received the boxes 2 days later in great condition. (3 days earlier than expected). Very happy with UPS, I will use them going forward.

The Chinese couple in this store is so nice and patient. When I came in, they give me nice smiling face~ Then, they helped me to pack my packages because I don’t know how. It took s a long time for them to explain the fees and the different kinds of shipping methods for them but they still showed their professional and patient. BTW, the store is very clean.

Use UPS at your own risk. The female clerk will sign your paperwork as Mike and will steal your merchandise. Police report submitted yet the Filipino staff still work there.
