I can’t say enough good things about Preeti Handa. I needed to make a large shipment of several parcels happen during my first trip ever in Canada. I needed it taken care of in a small window between the store opening, and needing to catch a flight. Preeti was ridiculously patient with my needs, and was so very helpful. Anyone that gets to work with her is being well taken care of. Excellent, excellent service.

TLDR: UPS itself is awful, but the shop manager for this location is incredibly helpful (both before and after the move), and is very much willing to go to bat on your behalf if/when UPS tries to rip you off. If you have to use UPS, this is the branch to do go through.
The only reason this isnt 1 star is solely earned by the manager of this local branch. They have been endlessly helpful both while I was preparing to move and when dealing with UPS's garbage customer service when I arrived on the other side.
I can't recommend UPS itself, though, as they broke my desktop in shipping, then took more than a month to "investigate". During the initial part of this investigation, I was not allowed to bring the PC in for repairs either, putting me out of access to my main productivity device for nearly a month.
After I did bring it in for repairs, which required parts to be replaced due to the abysmal handling of my packages, they then lowballed me on paying the repair costs. The store manager is still fighting to resolve, two months after the shipment was delivered and after I paid nearly 1000$ to ship everything + paid for full damage insurance on it all!! Its honestly pathetic, don't bother shipping anything more valuable than a bag of chips with UPS if you can avoid it.

Came here for the “expert packing service” since I needed to ship a delicate and valuable item. This expert service involved the single employee leading me into a back room where I was then expected to help them wrestle the item (a rug) into a box, unwrapped. I was expecting something much more professional, anyone can cram something in a box. They then looked me in the eye and told me this “expert service” would cost over $30. A perplexing and disappointing experience, felt ripped off.

This UPS Store is amazing? Do you know why? Because Preeti and Kapil took it over a few years ago and built it up to be a bustling community hub. This store is not just a UPS store, it’s a gathering place where everyone is welcome and everyone matters. It is truly a family owned business and I would tell anyone to come here. I work in the Bowness community and when I talk to people about “the Bowness UPS Store” - everyone knows Preeti! Keep up the amazing work Preeti. Your kindness and positive attitude is what a family business is about. Thank you for your tireless service to your customers every day. (Oh and while Preeti is on holidays, Nav does an amazing job)!

I’ve been a long time customer of this specific UPS store for printing and dropping off parcels. But after today, I will not be returning. The woman who normally works here is absolutely amazing. But the man, he’s a total disrespectful jerk. Will never return

I’ve had excellent experiences at this UPS outlet, thanks to Preeti! She provides prompt and courteous service, making visits smooth and hassle-free. Parking on the street has been easy, which is really convenient. This is truly a wonderful UPS outlet and I can highly recommend it! It remains the BEST UPS outlet that I’ve ever been to!

BEST UPS STORE in Calgary...in Canada...on Planet Earth! Vacationing with family and realized the day before returning home that we had just too much stuff to get into our luggage. Showed up 30 minutes before closing and Preeti completely fixed the issue. Managed to pack two oversized tote bags of things into a single compact box, even offered to pick up things from where we stayed if we discovered more that we wanted to have shipped home. Absolutely 5-star service!

Preeti is very friendly and caring about our shipment. We always come here as a local and each time she is accommodating and always ready to help. She has very good customer service and even advises us on cheaper deals. I always feel great coming here and leaving satisfied.

Great place! These guys really care.
I dropped off a pre-paid package and the label didn’t work. They actually tracked me down and called me to let me know and held the package until I could get a new label and box sent.
Above and beyond. Excellent service!
