I saw Jeanne tonight super last minute. Whilst we couldn’t do what I initially wanted due to time restraints plus it would have costed me a tonne of unexpected money, she communicated that in a super friendly way and came up with a 12/10 solution. She was really great and my hair looks awesome! I went for supper with my friends afterwards and have had total strangers come up and compliment me on my hair. Thank you!

Once again, Laura, the receptionist, is twisting our conversation that we had over the phone. I had a hair cut with Candice on June 18 at 12:30. We had a very pleasant conversation and I was happy with my hair cut. I also mentioned to her that I would like her to give a hair cut for my daughter who is 13 years old. She never questioned my daughter's age or hair length and mentioned that she would be happy for have her as a new client. Once again, Laura, the receptionist didn't give me a chance to talk to Candice even though, I asked her to have her call me back and left my phone number. Laura, presents me as an aggressive and impolite person. I want to let you know that I am an accountant and have a business of my own and know very well how to speak or treat clients. I was surprised by her rude reply saying that I won't be able to book an appointment in the future as well when I expressed my disbelief. I will definitely write a complaint to Better Business Bureau so that the owner of the business realizes how unprofessional and rude the receptionist is. She didn't even let me book an appointment so that Candice, the hair dresser could decide whether she wanted to give a hair cut for my daughter. I will be booking my future appointment with "Vivint" Hair salon. Their hairstylist were absolutely happy to have my daughter back for a hair cut and style. Both me and my daughter look much more presentable then the receptionist at that hair salon.

David is a fantastic stylist! Had a keratin treatment today, love my hair after getting this done. While the treatment is lengthy, David is a pleasure to spend time with. True You Salon stocks some very nice hair care products at a competitive pricing. I’m always abit nervous about getting a haircut, I no longer fear a haircut with David…..again, love my hair!

Tram did a great job. She gave a great scalp massage which many stylists neglect lately in other salons I’ve been to. She cut my hair exactly the way I asked her to and I was happy with the result. The salon itself was nice and staff were friendly. Ample easy parking. I also really enjoy that I could just book online, this is a huge plus.

Tram!! She was absolutely incredible. Tram took her time, gave me her honest opinions and recommendations, and let me know what she was doing during every step. She gave me exactly what I wanted, but better!! And my god the head/neck massage was amazing. I will be coming to her forever!

I was excited to find a salon that has a commitment of using cruelty free products, as stated on their website “we are committed to focusing on high-performance hair products while doing our part to use products that are plant based, vegan, gluten free, DEA & TEA free, paraben-free, and never tested on animals.”I had a full conversation with the stylist about how important cruelty-free products were to me and horrible the animal testing industry is, and she agreed and seemed quite knowledgeable about it. However, towards the end of the appointment she explained some of the products that were used and some of the brands that were used on me, such as Redkin.After doing a quick search to confirm my suspicions following the appointment, Redkin is not cruelty-free nor vegan. I’m hesitant to believe if any of the products were even truly cruelty free or vegan. I feel lied to and very disappointed in the misleading advertising, especially when I had specifically stated how important ethical products were to me.So, the search will continue for an ethical salon.

Edit. Throw away email so they dont know who i am and can't "locate me in their records ". Im embarrassed! I will not give the name of the lady to save more embarrassment . For both of us.Update I'm VERY UPSET WITH THIS HAIR. ITS already grown out after 2 weeks because she dyed it a soild colour. I'm VERY UPSET. HOW WILL THIS BE FIXED. I SPENT SO MUCH MONEY . I do not know what to do . Avoid hair dyes here . I also notice the cut one side is longer then the other..... so honestly avoid the whole place . IM SO UPSET I SPENT YEAR IN THIS HAIR. AND SO MUCH MONEY TO HAVE IT RUINED .Original:I wanted highlights but got ...a soild colour? Very soild colour... I'm very upset as this will grow out fast and bad. and is not what I was looking/asked for . . I feel now my original hair I have been with/worked/paid for is ruined and I am sad .Nice people. But no to the dye job . :(Also costly af compared to the place I usually go to that's downtown . . Odd. .Will not be back ? back to downtown for me . I'm very sad with the outcome as I'm used to natural highlights ... not this EXTREME dye job. Damn.

Just had the best haircut of my life at True You, courtesy of the legend herself, Tram! Not only did she transform my mop into a masterpiece, but her shampoo massage was like a mini-vacation. If you haven't had Tram work her magic on your hair, you're seriously missing out. Trust me, your head will thank you!

I’ve been coming to Tram for over a year and she consistently does a great job on my hair. She’s a very pleasant and kind person who makes you feel at ease and comfortable. This salon is lovely and has a great vibe! Highly recommend!

The entire salon has such a great atmosphere, and Candice is amazing! She has taken the time to teach me how to care for my hair properly, and helped me fix some pretty brutal breakage. I stumbled upon this place and am so glad that I found it!
