The University of Calgary Active Living is a diverse recreation facility that is part of the Faculty of Kinesiology. It offers a wide range of programs, including campus recreation, health and wellness, and youth and community activities. The facility features several recreation centers, such as the Fitness Centre, Aquatic Centre, Gymnastics Centre, Racquet Centre, and climbing and bouldering walls at the Outdoor Centre. The amenities promote lifelong active living for everyone. The facilities are generally good, with a swimming pool and wet sauna that get positive reviews. However, the gym can get crowded during the school year and has fewer equipment options compared to premium gyms. Parking is paid, but free outside parking is available with a pass, which is recommended. The staff, including helpful and friendly team members, enhance the experience. Some amenities like lockers require a small fee, and booking spaces quickly is advised due to high demand. Overall, Active Living provides affordable, welcoming, and great facilities for all ages.

My experience with our 10y old son in the program was amazing. He had 1:1 support, Kirti did amazing job. And the team led Arselon was always extra helpful. 5* for both of them.
