Significant deterioration to Value Village in the past 4 years (since covid.) No fitting rooms! Exchange ONLY allowed with clothes I’ve bought that don’t fit! I must find a staff member to grant me permission to access the bathroom. You make me use the self checkout because there are no cashiers open and then I must return shopping cart to where they are stored. Service and services are nonexistent here now. I am done. I will donate and shop elsewhere and suggest that everyone I know does the same.

There was an endless stream of people donating items and giving coupons. There are many varieties here, low prices, neat and clean, attracting a large number of customers. It's a good place to exchange items, and it can also do good deeds to help people in need.

What a vast selection of items. Occasionally, I find the prices a bit absurd. Overall, most things are reasonably priced for a thrift shop. I did find the odd item on the rack that ought to be in the trash. The store is huge. The staff were friendly. Parking was a bit tough. Google also has no idea how to get me there efficiently. If you enjoy thrifting or taking thrift items and making dupes, this place fits the bill.

Clean and organized Value Village. One of the better in the city. However as with most VV, the prices on some items are out to lunch. Second hand should be a lot more affordable than what they’re offering.

this place sucks!! they have the rudest employee named Coleen. she constantly follows people of certain race around the store, its giving racial profiling. She has made my friends very uncomfortable and has violated their space and integrity. On a specific interaction she became physical and invaded a customer's personal bubble. She was trying to pay for her items last minute but was rudely forced to leave meanwhile there was still 5 minutes to close, and was unnecessarily yelled at by this woman Coleen. I am furious for this has caused some great emotional trauma and has discouraged me from ever shopping here again. I strongly advise others to stay far away from this store and this dangerous uncontrolled emotional woman. This is not the type of customer service I or anyone deserves. I have worked numerous costumer service jobs and this behaviour would never, and should never be acceptable. This is grounds for termination of her job.Thank you, stay safe, respectfully

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The older woman Colleen is a horrible employee!! Every single time I go to value village, which is quite a bit Colleen follows me around the entire store and gives me dirty looks and sounds of disgust. Today I went in to shop 40 min to close. I noticed Colleen was following me around the store so I turned around and smiled at her and she rolled her eyes. I watch how she is with other customers and she does not treat them the way she treats me. Today my phone died 5 min to close so I was unable to purchase my items. I found an outlet and started to charge my phone 3 min to close. The manager walks over and asks what I’m doing and attempts to explain to me in a kind way that they close and they would like to go home. I’ve worked at many retails jobs, restaurants, etc and I know the feeling of wanting to go home. Instead of allowing the manger to talk to me Colleen Rudely interrupts and proceeds to yell at me to un plug my phone. I walked up to the front and asked if they could put my items on hold as I would return at 9am. They said no and I said okay. For about 2 minutes I was standing at the front wondering what I should do with my items. Do I put them back? Do I leave them somewhere? Do I drop them and walk out? I started walking back to where I found them and thought I’d put them in a little pile with the rest of the clothes. Colleen chased me down screaming at me to “get out”. there were a few other customers in the store at this time and the time was exactly 9:00pm. She RIPPED the items out of my hand and used to her body language to threaten me as if she was going to attack me. She was saying very means things with a very harsh tone of voice. I understand sometimes people have a bad day but obviously she has a bad day everyday. She should not be working there! Horrible customer service. If anyone in my workplace treated someone the way she treated me tonight they would be fired on the spot. Her behaviour is NOT acceptable for the workplace under any circumstances! I will have everyone I know, family, friends, and coworkers to leave a bad review about Colleen until she is fired. I will also get in contact with whoever possible to make sure they are aware that having Colleen as an employee has created a very unsafe and uncomfortable environment. I do not feel physically safe shopping at this value village with Colleen working there.

My recent visit to Value Village was exceptional thanks to Tyler's outstanding customer service. He not only guided me through self checkout but also showed incredible patience and kindness, creating an enjoyable and memorable experience. Navigating new technology like a self checkout can be challenging for someone of my age, but Tyler's helpfulness and kindness made it easy! I'll definitely be returning in the future! ???

This is typically my business of choice when I am looking to donate my items. I typically encounter no issues when donating and the staff are generally helpful or at least friendly. I am however writing this review now to express my extreme disappointment with an employee who made my last donation experience very negative. I arrived at the donation center at 8:45pm and expected I could drop off my items as the hours for drop off are listed until 9pm. The staff member working at the time made me feel terrible for coming 15 minutes prior to closing, which I feel is a reasonable amount of time to drop something in a bin and roll it inside. He almost refused to take my items, but when he did relent and say I could unload them, he said I needed to make sure I came earlier and that it was too late for me to drop things off. He was surly, rude and made me feel like a criminal for doing something I was more than in my right to do. It has dissuaded me from wanting to donate to this location now.

During my time at Value Village, I was truly impressed by the level of customer service provided, especially at the self checkout. Tyler, who was attending the self checkout area, he went above and beyond. Not only did he offer assistance and ask about our day, but he also took the initiative to take the hangers off our clothes and hung them up for us.This thoughtful gesture made the entire checkout process not only very efficient but also incredibly pleasant. The store was clean, which added to the positive shopping experience. Kudos to the entire Value Village team, will for sure be back in the future!

The staff were very friendly, the store is neat and tidy. The quality and selection is good. I was disappointed in the books section. Books here are 3.99, 4.99, 5.49 - Nancy Drew's in Hardy boys they are selling came as a box set at Costco at one point for about 20 or $30 and they're selling each book here for $5 individually. Other locations charge $1.49 a book for the kids /teen novels. So if you have a bookworm, or do homeschooling and need novels for the year beware of the pricing.

My experience with this location has always been positive. The items donated generally seem to be of a higher quality than other stores. I do wish that there was a fitting room though.
