I called in to ask if they had an item in stock to see if I could exchange it for the same item, since the one I purchased was defective and stopped working. It has been less than 14 days. The lady on the phone said they "weren't allowed to check for me" even though I had called the Market Mall location, and the employee was able to check no problem. I have the dept # as well as the style # and the original price tag still attached. It is a rather unique little gold lamp that is USB chargeable with touch controls. I feel as though if it were true that their policy states they "can't look for an item on the floor" that this would be consistent across all homesense locations. This makes me think that it's just lazy employees unwilling to help. I can't even check the website to see who has it in stock, so now I'm forced to run around to different locations and check myself. Kudos to the Market Mall location for actually being willing to check for me so I didn't have to waste my time going there. It seems like a really bad policy to not be able to have your employees check for items, especially if the customer has very specific details on the item in question.

Absolutely love this Homesense! They have little finds that are different than the others - for example, I grabbed a donut stool from here, but there are also other fun food stools around to select.

I encountered a significant issue with Winners’ receipts. They do not display the brand of the purchased item. However, when attempting to return an item, the cashier can check the brand. We were unable to return a jacket because it seems an employee attached the wrong tag, showing a different brand in their system. How are customers supposed to verify this information at the time of purchase when it isn’t on the receipt or the tag? It feels like a real ‘loser’ situation for the customers!

Some people are bad mood. Yesterday I visited Winners in Sarce I should buy a suitcase it isn't the price I asked someone never gave to me back that price. Sad.

Great store with a great selection of items for good prices.
The cashier the last time I went was pulling at all the barcode stickers and trying to see if there are different prices underneath. Claimed one of the clearance items had a fake sticker on it even though these stickers don't come off without ripping.
General attitude was that I was trying to steal maybe $1 from the store on a $165 purchase.
Really soured the shopping experience.
