We contacted Back in the Saddle, after moving to Cochrane, to get our vehicles inspected so we could switch them to Alberta registration. Since then, they have done other work to vehicles for us. They are honest, professional, and always take care of their customers. If you are looking for a mechanic, this is your place! You won't be disappointed.

Brought my truck here to have an ABS module changed along with out of province inspection. They told me the ABS Module was not available. I seached and found a used one myself and asked them to change it. They told me 2 it would be hours labor. After a couple days they said they were having issues with brake bleeder screws and they cross threaded one of the brake lines going to the module. When I picked up the truck ABS light was still on, the engine light was also on and the speedometer was not working. They told me I had to take it to a dealer to have the module programed which was never discussed at the beginning. When I left the brakes were very soft and spongy and I could tell they did not bleed the brakes. Took the truck to another mechanic and they said the brakes had definitely not been bled as the screw were seized.
When I called the owner to question this he said he did bleed the brakes and it was due to the used ABS module and it being an old truck (2014)
Find another shop. Don't recommend these guys.

Had my truck for over 24 hrs and I explained how half the trailer plug is working and half is not. Charged me $136 to tell me that there’s no power to half the plug (which I told them I replaced the plug at drop off. Extremely dissatisfied would not recommend to anyone

Made an appointment for Friday then dropped off the evening before so they can start asap.. Called at 2:20pm on Friday to check the status and not even started.... They said that I mentioned that I didn't need it until Monday but what I actually said was if they started the work but it took longer than one day that I would have to go without a car until monday. I did not say that they didn't have to have it done until monday. Why would I leave the only transportation I have there Friday, Saturday and Sunday if they don't want to start it on the day of the appointment. Horrible service and communication. What's the point of the appointment? Never again will I go there. And I will tell all my friends.

Bad times. First they did not retorque my tires properly after my brakes were replaced by them, and by the time I found out I had two lug nuts left on my drivers side back tire. I had to get the bearings and the wheel replaced, but even better was when I asked back in the saddle if they could help and they refused since “it happened after it left the shop so we take no responsibility.” So whatever I guess that’s on me.But then I got my winter tires put on at Kaltire, who informed me that my brand new brakes that were put on were not lubed, so I had to pay for that service as well. (X2 cause they did both back and front)As well, I had a 2019 Jeep cherokee. They told me my struts needed to be replaced since they were leaking. I went to the dealership to see if it was under warranty, but they informed me that they don’t need replacing after all. This has been a nightmare to deal with, so learn from my mistake.Services: Brakes
