Ive been to reflex quite a few times now but after the last time I will never go back. Either the owner is uneducated, misinformed or just hates vegans. I live a very healthy vegan lifestyle but like to supplement with protein powders and amino acids. Each time I have gone in has been a terrible experience. We talked about soy the first time I went in and he argued with me about the hormones in it, I explained that soy contains phyto estrogens and they do not effect estrogen levels in the body, he argued with me and made a gesture with hands at his chest and said, why do you think young girls have such big chests these days. I fired back with, majority of people still drink cows breast milk(actual hormones), not soy. Not the dumbest debate I had but certainly frustrating. Another time we had a discussion of protein intake as I was inquiring about best way to get a bit leaner and what he thinks I should be consuming each day, he asked what I eat for breakfast, when I told him he actually laughed at me. Turns out my vegan breakfast contains more protein than his suggestion of eggs. He has criticized my choice of being vegan telling me that my protein powder is an incomplete protein and its not a very good one (he is totally wrong on this as it says right on the label “complete protein”), while also telling me that its very hard to be healthy being vegan, he is also wrong. He debates me every time in a way to tell me my lifestyle choices are wrong. I recently had bloodwork done and my doctor was blown away by the results telling me I’m incredibly healthy. Also, I’ve been vegan for almost 6 years and haven’t died of protein deficiency. Before my change I was having health issues so thanks Reflex guy but your knowledge of veganism needs some updating. I feel so uncomfortable when I go in there but I continued to return because I try to support local business and local business owners but I will now take my business elsewhere.

Amazing supplement shop in the heart of Cochrane to visit. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and will give you the best product advise for your needs. The rest of the staff are equally amazing. Great place to shop and great pricing.

I was extremely impressed with my experience here at the Cochrane Location. The owner was extremely knowledgeable and they had a great selection of high quality products.
I came in looking for a more bio-available protein powder option and organ supplements.
Although he was out of stock of the organ supplements, but he was very accommodating and had offered to order it.
When I asked about protein powder he recommended a few options as it’s more bio-available, etc. didn’t even have to ask.
Knew his products in and out, steered me in the right direction, wasn’t pushing products on me.
Would highly recommend this store.
