This is not my home branch. Thank goodness.
I recently went in to discuss a charge on one of my accounts with TD. The teller, Zach, with whom I had my initial conversation was friendly, polite and helpful. His manager Hardeep Singh was unhelpful to the point of confrontational. When Mr. Singh refused to help me, I requested the opportunity to speak to someone else at the branch. Fortunately HIS manager was in the building at the time. I offered to stand at the side and wait for Mr. Bak. While I stood there, Mr. Singh started talking to the helpful teller so I once again approached the wicket. As it turns out, Mr. Singh DID have the option of helping me all along. He just chose not to.
A customer should not have to insist on help from the people who control our money. A manager should not abuse a position of authority. If you are able to help a customer, you should do it without them saying that they will appeal to your manager. If I hadn't phoned prior to coming to the branch, and been informed of TD policy, I would have been totally brow beaten by the assistant manager.
Very, very poor customer service.

Worst customer service, my wife was interrogated by some clown when she brought in few grand cash to deposit, was treated like some kind of criminal, when we came back to make a complaint was promised that a manager will call us back and nothing to this day , been over a week. Closing our account and taking our money somewhere else .

The Branch Manager exhibited a lack of professionalism by withholding my funds for 7days just for the reason that I recently opened my account with them, which caused significant inconvenience as I needed to make an important purchase. I would advise caution if you prefer not to have your finances subjected to the discretion of unqualified personnel. I do not recommend this branch

This review is for Madison Bujold who was assisting me today. I had an appointment with her today and would like to commend her on her professionalism, politeness and knowledge. She provided clear guidance and support which was much appreciated.
On the other hand, the lady that was called in to the appointment midway, Vicky Ji, to assist with some things, was horrendous. She ignored, dismissed, and insulted me and proceeded to make conversation with my husband one on one for the entire duration. When I did speak up, she cut me off and spoke over me even louder. I have left a review for her at her branch in Calgary (highlighted on her business card).
I wanted to write this review for Madison, who was extremely professional, helpful, respectful and answered all my questions with clarity. I felt a lot better after the other lady left and I was able to continue my appointment with Madison.

TD Cochrane isn't my home branch, but I needed a draft and they were close by so I went in at noon on a Friday (yeah, my bad...)
There were 3 tellers working and the lineup was long, but staff in offices came out to help with the lineup and dealt with it reasonably quickly and efficiently. I was impressed to see members of the TD team (I think even the assistant branch manager?) leave his office and help out at the counter.
Service was much more personal and efficient than I've seen from any TD branch in the last 10 years and made me wonder whether this was a one-off experience, since I've been moving all my banking away from TD in the last few years after consistently terrible experiences at a nearby TD branch.
An hour later I was back in the Cochrane branch having to get the draft cancelled. The lunch hour was over and the lineup was minimal. Service was again personal, professional, and efficient and I was done in minutes. THANK YOU to Zack and the other staff at this branch.
TD's corporate overlords seem determined to maximize profit and alienate customers by closing branches, reducing hours, and wasting tens of millions fighting class action settlements surrounding pejorative (and illegal) fees. Meanwhile, the Cochrane branch reminds me of the TD of yesteryear, when they used to be the best of the big 5 banks.

I came in with my tips in cash and coin from the last year and they sorted it no issue very quickly! They were very nice.

Tried to change canadian for American money , the bank teller had a fit , wanted ID/ my address, where i live , if i have account my name ect , moving with a sence of urgency heading to airport. With not much time . He blocked my transaction, couldn’t change the money over and he seemed happy that he couldnt help . 3rd time this year they put the screws to me , definitely switching banks . Just a simple cash for cash transaction. Pretty sure they make $$$ changing currencies, he wasnt happy with that . Needed more….. hit the airport did it there done in 60 seconds , no document Identification nazis there. 1 of 3 rotten deals ive had with them in the last year . The other 2 they wouldnt pay out people $ because the transfer was too high so you had to go kiss their boots for that aswell .

I went into this branch Saturday afternoon on September 23rd and I spoke to three employees. I was initially speaking to this Oriental woman, she helped me through the entire process. She was kind and patient with me while answering all my questions. The other two were Caucasian, one had long hair and claimed to work in the office of the branch; the other was middle aged with short hair and worked as a teller. These two women jumped in with bad attitudes and got heated very quickly. When I told them I didn't like the way they were speaking to me, they started being combative and insinuated that I was the problem. How is anyone suppose to trust TD with their money if you have employees that can't keep their composure for the sake of professionalism and good customer service? These two women made me consider withdrawing my money and closing my account. In all my years of being with TD, I've never dealt with such disrespectful and obnoxious employees. These two women really showed their true nature of who they are as a person and let me tell you, they are not good people.

Constant issues with my accounts. In the end no one is willing to help. Phone banking says I have to go to the branch. The branch says they can’t do anything….. back and forth 5 times. they just hand me another phone number to call. Been on hold for 5 hours in the last week. Teller says they can direct me to a complaint department yet no one will actually help to solve the ongoing issues.

This is easily the worst TD location I’ve ever tried to do business at. They refused to deposit a check for me that was literally in my name and it’s the same cheque I deposit every single month from the same company. Long lines, slow tellers. You would get faster service driving into Calgary.
