Ambleside Eco Station is a convenient waste drop-off facility with friendly and helpful staff. The service is excellent and well-organized, making it easy to unload items. It is a great place for household hazardous waste, electronics, old mattresses, used oil, and yard waste—things regular garbage does not take. The signage is good. In springtime, free compost is often available. Wait times are usually short, though the odd time there is a line. For accepted items and fees, visitors are encouraged to visit the website.

Genuinely look forward to going here. Easy to use, friendly staff, and there used to be a Re-Use It centre that often had useful stuff. Hoping that some day they reopen it.
