“I am a big fan! I went there for the first time yesterday with my best friend and it was a huge win. We found some amazing clothes, didn't spend a ton and had a great girls day. Will definitely revisit ?”

“What a big beautiful store, well organized and such stunning displays. Not jammed pack with items like regular thrift stores. Very clean and the prices are too good to be true, up to 5 $ less than other places. Mission thrift is the only place I shop now.”

“Is a great place to find treasures of untold fortunes. The new owners are trying to make it a farmers market rather than a flea market. New vendors are in place, old vendors are gone. Neat treasures sometimes to be found. Great hot dogs ? and fries ? and gravy ?.”

“This place is wonderful! The people working there are super friendly and helpful, and they have a good selection of items despite it being a small store. Prices are very low, and they give away free books!”

“Nice little thrift shop in a quiet spot. It doesn’t have a large floor but we absolutely didn’t need a giant store because we found some amazing little hidden treasures! The prices are also incredibly amazing! We know that thrift shopping means you need to take time to go through everything and we did, the store has so many items to look through and we enjoyed our time there. It is a small shop but the staff is so friendly and sweet, plus we appreciated the selection in books and vintage glassware! We ended up getting a few pieces of clothing as well and we were very happy with the experience. Again I cannot say enough great things about the staff, they made the trip there so special and fun!”

“If you are looking for baby and toddler clothing and accessories this is the place for you. Keep in mind that this is a second hand store. The quality of the stock is good. The store can feel claustrophobic as it is jam packed with stuff. The store is clean and well lit. There is plenty of parking. The prices are reasonable. My wife and I did not buy anything but we may return as we know what’s available. Especially since we have a granddaughter now.”

“This is one of my favourite thrift stores! The staff are lovely, and seem happy to chat with you and tell you about the store and its mission in the community. That everything stays in circulation in their stores and programmes, and that the money all goes to benefit those in the community through the works of the Bissel Center makes this an extra favourite, because it feels like every purchase is a donation to a good cause! They also have some amazing finds, and their items seem well curated, cared for, and fairly clean. And the prices are fantastic.I legitimately cannot say enough good things about this place!Even though it is small, I prefer it to their other location. I go back here often (sometimes a few times a week), and still find something great!Highly, highly recommend!”

“My mother recently passed and I was looking for a good place to donate her items. I wanted to donate to a Women's Shelter or to Ukrainian refugees but I didn't have what they wanted/needed. You see, my mother liked to collect pretty things, and my family doesn't have the space for all her salt and pepper shakers, Christmas decorations, eagles, owls, wolves, chefs, dishes, etc., etc. But I didn't want to just shove them off to just anywhere. I wanted it to mean something. Thankfully, I can do that here. I came to the MCC on the recommendation of a friend who volunteers with the Yeg Water Warriors. She told me that MCC helps YWW as many other organizations in the community and beyond. I Googled them and found that it was even better than I'd been told. I can breathe a sigh of relief that the sale of my mother's beautiful things will go to good causes, as she would have wanted. Staff was excellent and helpful. We checked the store out before we left, and found it to be clean and organized. We bought candles and a jacket. I'm going to be back after I declutter my house to bring them more, because I support what they do. I think I'll buy some of that coffee too. Thanks everyone at MCC for making me feel better about giving away my Mom's beautiful, but space consuming things.”

“It was a great experience. If you love thrifting, give it a shot, it's not your typical goodwill ;) i saw some live bin rotation, but after a while it all started to be clothes ? must just be luck of the draw, but you never know unless you go!”

“I’m an avid thrifter. I also have severe anxiety, so going out is incredibly hard for me. Every time I have been to this location, the people at the till have been incredibly understanding. They take their time with my (usually giant) order, help me pack it, and don’t look perturbed that I’m shaking or stuttering or need some extra assistance at the till when interacting with people. The other day, specifically, the person at the till shared validating words and was incredibly supportive in my journey with practicing going places with anxiety and interacting with others like this. These interactions make a huge difference in my life, and make a significant impact on my ability to feel at least somewhat safe when I’m shopping, and when I’m trying to check out at the till. This Goodwill location has been absolutely incredible and has made such a significant impact on my shopping experiences with anxiety. If you or someone you know need a (relatively) safe place to practice shopping with anxiety, I would highly recommend visiting this store! It’s definitely not the biggest one in the city, but it has good finds, and the care and dignity shown from the staff make this the best Goodwill to shop at (at least for me), hands down.”

“Thrifting is always fun but when you price higher than what the item is worth from the original store it's a turn off. Value village is becoming less affordable. Also this location is often busy with a rough crowd, sadly I don't feel safe in the parking lot. Will only shop during the daytime because of this.”

“I like this location, but I just don't like the way they follow around certain groups of people like they are stealing. Sometimes I find theres more floor workers then people shopping in there. But it's clean and the staff are friendly and helpful”

“I love shopping at this store. They have a good amount of nice quality clothes and brand clothes as well, the store is well organized and clean so it’s pretty easy to find items that I look for. Staffs are attentive and kind too!”

“Staff at this location are surprisingly friendly, The manager was especially helpful and nice.I dislike value village but I got a coupon so I went for boots. They had both boots together this timeThe self checkout is great and you can even scan your coupons without needing staff help(as long as your phone is in light mode, but the staff can help you at the regular registers if it has a code)”

“I love the store so much; good selections can be found there, and there is enough space to walk around as they have expanded the store. Try it out and thank me later ? ☺️.”
