The water pump needed to be replaced and possibly the timing chain, but he wouldn’t know until the engine was out. He said it looked good and they just had to replace the pump!! My Hyundai needs the bumper loosened/removed to change a headlight bulb! Canadian Tire's quote was crazy. CARSTAR came in way cheaper.
They smartly suggested changing all bulbs on both sides while the bumper was down. They only added the cost of the bulbs (cheap), no additional labour! Now I have peace of mind.

“Went in because of concern re front bumper dislocating on my 2012 subaru. Subaru on Gateway boulevard had 1 month booking delay. Tried to bribe the Southern Autobody guys with donuts, refused! He came out and looked at it and said they could fix it right away. Sat down to read, and in less than 15 minutes it was fixed, and he refused payment. Now there's a body shop that I can trust and return to anytime. thanks very much guys”

“Purchased my battery from calgary back in 2024 and died on me twice this year. Brought to Interstate edmonton hub to be checked and hoping to get a warranty for it. Upon arriving, I met Henry and He welcomed us and was so kind enough to assist me in testing my old battery.
He explained to me how the warranty process works. He tested my battery and found that my battery needs to be replaced.
Since my battery is still under warranty (came with 30months warranty) and with Interstate’s nationwide warranty coverage, He replaced my battery with a new one with no hassle. I would like to commend Henry for helping me out with the warranty. A highly recommendable shop and battery center.”

There was a really minor thing I asked them to correct for me so i brought it back, and they did it no problem. The estimator and technician also went above and beyond to get a small dent out of my door and fix another issue i pointed out (unrelated to anything they did)! Im really grateful and impressed.
