“There was a branch in Rabbit Hill. The shelves in this store were quite organized. The presentation was better than in the other branches we visited, and the artificial flowers section was very attractive.
The shelves here are also quite neat, and there seem to be more styles of artificial flowers than in the branches I visited before. The staff displays the items in an aesthetically pleasing way.”
“Lots of variety and clean most days stock is always fresh and assortment s of everything I just hate how loss prevention is always following me .I'm there every other day I don't even come close to putting anything in my pockets too bad I'm watching people fill their pockets and they aretoo busy watching me to notice ..... I am always carrying my purse so small it barely fits my wallet and phone with one reusable bag !”
“I love shopping here, but I have an issue getting in and out of the store when shopping with my stroller. It need buttons for automatic doors so that people do not have to fight with the doors as they going in or out. I know other location that have them.”

“I love shopping at Dollarama in general, but this location stands out because of the staff. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming — it really makes a difference! Even though it’s about 10 minutes away from where I live and there’s another one closer, I always choose this one. “Well stocked, friendly sales floor team, lots of security so I would imagine the have a big shrink opportunity to address being central along with the behavioral people issues that come with all that in store. I felt safe shopping and was able to find what I needed and efficiently self scan my goods and leave the store without issue. Thanks.”
“The staff here are always knowledgeable and friendly, which makes shopping inside a good experience.
That said, I wanted to leave a friendly note about the outside cleanliness. On my last visit, the entrance area wasn’t very welcoming — there was a strong odor of urine and even someone trimming their nails right by the doors. I didn’t even want to stop and take pictures because I was in a rush and just wanted to leave after my purchase.
We all take pride as Canadians in wanting clean and welcoming streets, and I believe this store could reflect that better. Other Dollarama locations I’ve visited are kept much cleaner, so it might be worth hiring a service to spray down the entrance regularly. I think this would make a big difference and keep this store on par with the excellent service already happening inside.”
“Pretty disappointing when they sell stuff that has already been opened. Sadly didn't notice until I got home. Of course their greasy phone number is useless as it is just a series of recorded voice messages and no actual live agents. Stores of course don't give out their actual store location numbers.
When I returned to the store they did allow me to exchange the opened items, but as they were out of stock they game me a refund which I did appreciate. Thank you”

“Dollarama in West Edmonton Mall consistently offers an impressive selection. Whenever I see items featured on Instagram from Dollarama, they are always available. Moreover, the associates are always friendly and efficient with quick checkouts. I would like to extend a special acknowledgement to Rebecca for her warm greetings, which undoubtedly make customers feel welcome.”

“Just wanted a cold drink Dollarama is Dollarama and they had it. It was cold, there was a bit of a lineup, but somebody always comes to the front when they get busy. I was in and out fast. The parking lot is much worse in this mall, few access points and packed”
“Well stocked, well lit store, with everything you'd expect to find at a Dollarama. I found the kitchen gadgets isle to have good sturdy products with loads of diversity to choose from. The gardening isle is always a fun isle to get your garden/yard ready for spring. I find that the rope dog leashes they sell are amazing leads, at a fraction of the cost of what you'd pay buying something comparable at a pet shop. I love the items they have for house plants, I find a houseplant pot I want every time I'm there.Just keep in mind that while there are standard products that you'd expect to find at a Dollarama, sometimes they have unique items that maybe won't be available for too long. So you want that super cute squirrel lawn ornament? I'd buy it then instead of risking it not being there upon your return.The only other thing I'd suggest is to make sure you check that the product you choose, especially if grabbing multiples, have all the parts needed and that things like lids work. I have sometimes (ok many times) been in a rush and haven't noticed something doesn't quite fit or work right until I get home, which leaves you down the item and, if you're like me and you're not going to go back to get another 4.00 item because it's not worth the fuss/gas, then you also need to dispose of or repurpose/recycle.This store's staff was pleasant and helpful, and while I was there only the self serve check outs were available.”

“I really try not to go to this location. It is a disaster at all times, such a mess. The people at the till don't treat you like a human, and are very impatient.
Edit: 09-01-25 I have been here recently and things have improved. It is now orderly and tidy. There is a space made for the line at the till and they have added tills to keep the line moving. Improved rating from 2 to 4 stars. Well done!”

“This Dollarama location is quite spacious with a noticeably larger selection compared to what I’m used to at the Brooks location on Whyte Ave. The kitchen and kids sections in particular had a lot more variety, which was a pleasant surprise.
Overall, it’s a decent store—clean, well-stocked, and great for finding affordable everyday items. The only downside is that it’s not the most accessible if you’re on foot or using transit, so it’s definitely more convenient if you have access to a car. Still, worth checking out for the selection and space.”
