Downtown Liquor is an underground business connected to the Central LRT station. It is run by dedicated and inspiring husband-and-wife owners who are friendly and knowledgeable. The location feels like an old-time speakeasy or a scene from a movie, which some find problematic or not obvious, especially for accessing the underground lair. The store has a great selection, including lots of choice, stout beers in season, craft beer, wines, spirits, and single Snapples at a good price. Many find the prices great and note it is a great local company to purchase from, despite other cheaper places existing.

Staying at Chateau Lacombe and went by tonight for some wine. What amazing people working. Friendly service, great selection, great prices. What a little hidden gem!
