“It is located 5 minutes away from Capilano mall so you don't have to fight traffic in the mall parking lot. At this location you will find a wide variety of alcoholic beverages and the staff are very knowledgeable when you have questions. I would say it is a must place to visit if you enjoy the variety.”

“I was at 7 degrees for the first time on the weekend after googling places to buy Shanky's Whip Whiskey and discovering that not many places have it! Thankfully 7 degrees did- it's about 1.5 hours away from our home, but absolutely worth the trip! The couple who served me (i think probably the owners) were super friendly and knowledgable, which i am very appreciative of! I don't drink but buy alcohol for friends and family, so it was great to have people who knew a lot about different products and were happy to make recommendations! Some places you can see that they recommend the highest priced items or try to upsell you, but this place didn't at all- they just gave me suggestions from all different price points and spent an equal amount of time and effort explaining the options for the tiny mini bottles i was grabbing for stocking stuffers. They also recommended a drink similar to Baileys but made here in Alberta called Thick and Dirty, and we grabbed some for my brother- always great to support local!Huge thanks to the lovely couple who made this such a wonderful experience- i absolutely recommend it, and will definitely be back!”

“This store has always had some of the best customer service and experience, but I really want to highlight what happened this week.On Monday, I stopped by this store to pick up a particular bottle of wine (Freakshow Petit Petit, highly recommend it!). When I asked for assistance, the gentleman, Dylan, showed me where it was but also informed me they were having a sale on it on Wednesday, if I'd rather pick it up then. Well, today is Wednesday and I was able to grab 3 bottles for $10 off each! I'm honestly so thankful for Dylan and Kim (my cashier today) for being so accommodating and keeping the customers best interests in mind.This is my go-to liquor store for a reason! Dylan has built a fantastic staff and is a shining example of how to be great in a customer service role. Thank you again!”

“Very nice people. To the gentleman in the reviews saying the store area closes at 9:30 you do know the neighborhood area yes? Then you know how many people likely steal from there everyday. They aren't closed at 9:30 just limited access to the store. Go downtown you'll be doing your liquor store transactions through a barred up window or door. Plus they open a hour before anyone else and stay open till the maximum amount allowed I'd say that pretty unique for the west end.”

After going to 2 other local locations which didn't have what I was looking for in stock, I called ahead at the millwoods location to check beforehand. Employee on the phone put product aside for me so it was ready when I arrived, which was really appreciated! Cashier gave me a cardboard tray to carry everything out much easier, and also gave me a promotional visor. Both employees I dealt with were awesome! I will definitely be coming back to this location instead of my local store next time.”
