Tina one of the Cafe girls was very very rude, been coming to this location everyday for the past 3 months and after our interaction I don’t feel welcome at the store anymore.
I was really disappointed with the portions i was given as I order almost the same meal every couple of days. After I asked about it she said it was the correct weight and that if I wanted more I’d have to buy a separate container and then on top of that told me she didn’t want to assist me with payment at her counter and said it’s not a standard practice.
I was under the impression for the past 3 months that it wasn’t a problem to pay there but these are some reasons why I chose to leave a review.

Clean big store but why is the produce wilted and gross? I didnt take a picture of the green leaf lettuce but it was wilted too. I hope it can be improved.

Great service and verity.
Sale items are a great value.
Other prices are a bit high.
There are no big bags of bacon bits. ?
No strawberry shortcake bread is available without pre- ordering. ??

Always seems to have everything we need. Always has fresh Halibut that looks really good as well. Plus, you still get the rebate for fuel when you shop there and use it at the shell which also has diesel. Good place to shop on the first Tuesday of the month

Store is good and clean.
When it comes time for a check out, the cashiers don’t offer to beg your groceries anymore. They use to have 2 people at check out one to scan and the other to bag. I dread going to the checkout because I’m not one for begging my groceries. It’s bad enough with inflation of groceries and buying bags for groceries but you have to beg them too. I think that’s one thing all grocery stores need is more staff.

Excellent experience with Safeway bakery. Also great service. Bakery manager Terrance handled my concern very well. We will definitely try cakes from Safeway again.
