Safeway Windermere is a clean, big store that generally seems to have everything customers need, including fresh local products and items like halibut. It offers great service and variety, with sale items providing good value, though other prices are a bit high. Some specific products can be unavailable without pre-ordering. The store supports charitable programs and offers a fuel rebate. However, experiences vary; some staff can be rude and unhelpful, while produce is sometimes reported as wilted. A common complaint is that cashiers no longer bag groceries, leaving customers to do it themselves, indicating a need for more staff at checkout.
Love this location! Plus open until 11 pm is super convenient.

Helpful staff Great lunchtime options And the young man that gathers the carts and baskets to ensure we have access to them... he does it with enthusiasm and is a hard worker and a joy to speak to
