“I visited Foam Fighters to use the skateboard facility today. It was jovial. Ramps were set up to provide speed to coast o both sides of the warehouse. I booked a time online and pretty much had the place to myself. Highly recommend if your looking for an indoor skateboard option.”

“MEC downtown Edmonton is like a rose blooms at the middle of your garden. Unlike other event centres of that size, this is a place where you enjoy daylight rooms in a beautiful setting. “We visited the Italian Cultural Centre during the Ramadan festival and had a wonderful experience. The venue was very clean, well organized, and welcoming. Everything was set up professionally, and the event flowed smoothly from start to finish.
The atmosphere was warm and family friendly, and it was great to see the space being used for such a beautiful community gathering. Staff and organizers did an excellent job managing the crowd and keeping everything running efficiently.”

“Decent experience overall. My kids loved the trampoline and slide area. The place had a good variety of play areas for all ages and was very neat and tidy. I saw staff wiping tables and vacuuming and the bathrooms were clean.

I was glad proof of vaccination was required however was disappointed to see that indoor masking was not enforced. A large majority of the children were running around without masks in close proximity to each other and even some adult guests, who were clearly not eating, also had no masks in the play areas. In the main eating/sitting area the tables were not spaced apart by 2 meters on all sides. My back was up against another lady who was sitting behind me, presumably where people would be removing their masks to eat and drink.

The website indicates no barefoot are allowed and I saw a number of children running around with no socks. I get that some kids don't like wearing sock (or masks) but those were just my observations that made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

If it had not been for these few observations I made about the masking and spacing, I think it would be a really good experience and we would go back in a heart beat. The facility itself is super fun!

Additional review: we ended up coming back in December 2024, during school break time and I wanted to mention that I was impressed by the level of monitoring occurring in the trampoline area. On two seperate occasions there were staff members monitoring the safety of the kids and blowing a whistle if they crawled up to sit higher than they were supposed to or eyeing up adults who were just laying on the trampolines. Seating space was tight in the trampoline area; wish there were a few more tables/seats in that area but overall, another enjoyable experience so am changing my review to 4 stars.”

“Went down for the oilers game so got a room here. Ive never stayed before but it was a pleasant surprise. The room was clean with views of downtown, and the beds were very comfortable. The room was a little hot and stuffy and we couldn't open a window, but overall I would stay here again.”

“I was currently there for a course and had a great experience. All staff made me feel comfortable and safe. Great shops inside and is in a great location to get around downtown. The pedways make it extremely easy to get around inside from building to building, especially on cold Edmonton days. If I was traveling from out of town I would definitely stay here.”
